Oh, and well done for keeping Marc Bolan off the top spot with that song. Apparently he was an arrogant person in real life. Big Love To Slade.
I luv Jim more than Marc. Jim's a true, purely musician. Listen to his latest album. I luv Dave too, Slade has the other side as a live band. He owes it. Young Jim looked like a bit Nick Cave, Dave now looks like a bit Pete Shelley, the Buzzcocks.
Slade is a great band, but let's not lose sight of reality. The Sweet were always much better. That is why the Sweet was able to crack the US market, while Slade could never get out of the UK.

Dave Hill looks so lame. He ALWAYS came off as uncool to me. It looked like he was always trying to be cool, but never got it. You can tell he's unsure of himself in general. Dave Hill never belonged onstage. Steve Priest was such a hottie in the 70's.
