Im working on some trash the dress photography right now........what's idiotic--and actually down right RUDE is this journalist saving it for "her daughter"....your daughter doesn't want your old ugly dress--she wants her own.

I am totally going to trash my dress after I get married in Maui! Why would I sell it when I can get some amazing photos that are not only art but will last forever! As much as people think they will pass their dress on most brides want to pick their own, not wear mom's from 20 plus years ago! donating it... that's a nice thought but then again I bought it so let me trash it:) And duh...it doesn't get thrown away, it gets cleaned as much as possible afterwards to be saved!

I agree, this is idiotic. I found this clip online because I had just plugged in "donate wedding dress" online and unusualartvideos response came up in the search. This idiot thinks saving a dress is silly? Trashing it is worse. Recycle!

If you insist on spending thousands of dollars on an ugly white dress (completely idiotic if you ask me), why not donate it to charity when you're done with it? I just went on Google and searched "donate wedding dress" and found dozens of charities which accept unwanted wedding dresses for good causes.

I'm going to trash mine soon! Selling your dress on Ebay barely gets what it costs to clean back. My daughter will never want to wear it, let's be honest! I never thought a second about wearing my mom's. It is pretty, but I wanted my own dress that is today's style!

you get the most unusual photos of you in your dress. depends on the photographer, though - whether it's artistic or just "dirty"... that's what these brides want. i think it's very cool.
