Always love hearing this song. And yes, it does sound different in the lower key but I guess it is much easier to drop it down. There are not many JD tribute singers that can do it in the original key. Did see one guy by the name of Jim Curry with the Kansas City Symphony about a year ago, who did a whole concert of John's songs in the original keys...and he was spot on. Nice to see the music is still being performed so well. Keep up the good work, guys!
