16 piranahs eating FROZEN mouse at dinner time

I have had my 5 red bellies since they were 1/2 inch and the biggest one is about 5 inchs. why aren't the getting any bigger..i have a 60 gallon bow front tank same size as yours..what were you feeding them

@Wolerine7 first, my tank is a 76 bowfront also i have a dual sump salt water filter that also holds 40+ gal putting my total well over a hundred. it allways seemed the more water in your system the bigger they will grow, also the more often you change thier water you could almost watch them get bigger. and a steady diet, meaning smaller feedings more often allways seemed better and mine ate anything i put in there chix. steak seafood rabbits rodents(NO RATS they stink) fishbytheton!

@stripedstriker1 I have been handling them since they where 1/2 inch long....but they are very dangous....The trick is to stick both arms in fast and furious style and try to scare them more then they scare you.

When there frozen we only have to do a water change twice a month. When the mouse is thawed we have to do a water change every 4-5days or it will smell like death!!!
