  • This movie was SO funny! I wish they would make more like it. It made you feel happy walking out of the cinema:) Seen it 3 times in total! Shane & Paul are hilarious together.

  • Amazon have it! Gonna buy it next week! Wish Paul Hogan would make more films.

  • Only reason americans dont say that is coz they are always in movies, so its a normal voice! Who cares if we Australians are proud to be Australian!

  • I dont know how to watch this movie... Netflix doesnt have it.. Youtube doesnt have it... Ebay doesnt have it... Local stores dont have it...

  • @tashamad123

    I hope to go to Australia someday .. When i'm 18 i'll go .. (now i'm 17)

I probably will fall in love with the country.

  • @Jaspervdk No doubt you will!

    Where you from?

  • @tashamad123

From Belgium .. the complete other side of the world of Aussie

  • im not an australian but mate, i love this movie,,, saw it three time already :)... been in oz for three years, love the people, love the place, n' love the slang.

really like the scene with the police, hehehe hilarious :)

  • im an extra in rodeo scene

  • Have looked at many comments on the net and have revised my opinion, this a perspective film. If you have"nt suffered the loss of someone you hold dear that has you staring blankly at a wall for 6 hours or more trying to come to terms with it and that person engulfes all your otherwise unoccupied waking thoughts then this movie is a complete waste of time for you. If you have and the feelings arent too raw then watch it as it is about the start of the healing process and I found it touching

  • the best bit is when they are gettiing towed and the cop sais puul over

  • @LieutenantJCameron what's so funny about "pull over"?

  • @regenjo They were being towed by the red ute! That's whats so funny! Just watch the movie, It's halarious!

  • what's the song that starts at 1:21???

  • Haven't seen it but looks like a lame attempt to make a movie out of a script that really is meant to be a long commercial for enticing abroaders into tourism to Australia. The trailer looks that way anyway and the fact that Paul Hogan is in it and the film screens abroad (not too many australian films are exported abroad) seems to point in that direction also. I loved to experience Australia when I was there for a year but this was too lame reason for a movie. Will read reviews before watching.

  • yeah i agree very lame, not much of a story line . just another traveling type movie . shane jacobs plays a good part , but sadly paul hogan over acts in this one . I didn't go much on it , to someone else they might like it .

  • who gives a shit what their motive was when they made it, its a great movie.

  • is funny dickhead

  • get a life

  • how about fuck off? there aren't that many aus movies so a movie by it and about it is great.

  • @malmstring Hi saw the movie on dvd and being Australian and a fan of both Paul Hogan and Shane Jacobson thought it would be some amusing light-hearted entertainment aimed at Australians, I was quite wrong and was surprised to find a drama/comedy about a father and son that was quite deep at times and think that the truths in it would mean a lot to people of many cultures and backgrounds, its not 5 star but I think 3 to 4 for me, Hope you watch and enjoy

  • charlie and boots is a great funny movie

  • this looks like another great ozzie movie

cant wait to take my dad to see it i recon he'd rather enjoy it

  • does anyone know: is it already on dvd and if yes where can i buy one??? (:

  • rly?

  • Best movie ever. Good on ya shane and paul.

  • its a really good film i loved it!

  • i love being aussie our slang is so awesome i love how we sound in movies lol

  • @HotEmoChick1993 You don't see Americans going around saying "I love being American! We sound so damn awesome in movies and we're better than everyone else because we're American. Our slang is so effing awesome!" Quit being conceited.

  • @krm3396 you've got to be kidding right?

  • the scene where the car can't start is sad. funny movie 5/5

  • this is the best movie so far :) laughs all the way through

  • This movie is hilarious... I would reccomend it to any australian =)... Frigin funny

  • @coldplayiskool Besides those Australian's who are too city slicker. Just Saying. But Still Good Film.

  • @WhosTheMorley I'm a city kid, and have been all my life.. But i love this movie. You don't have to be a True Blue country kid to enjoy this movie.

  • @TheLukieBoi1 Yeah but what about the american's?

  • @WhosTheMorley American's are different, they don't get Aussie humour, lol.

  • Hoges is a good lad...one day he may be a saint.

  • ' a perfect movie "

  • got the old holden kingsy mate yeaaaa that's Aussie

  • does somebody know: is charlie&boots a movie for the cinema or just a normal movie?? and does it come to germany??? if somebody knows pleeeease tell me. btw i like the trailer♥

  • hi buddy. It is a movie...Its is Australian...I was in it. Made around outback NSW. I was in it in Tamworth the dancing scene...Hope this helped

  • yeah. thanks;-) you really were in this movie??? how great;-)

  • it will be in cinemas in australia, however i'm not sure if they'll put it in cinemas elsewhere. i hope they do, not many of our true blue movies make it to the international cinema though

  • aha in the cinemas in australia. hope in germany too.;-)

  • its figurative language i guess. kilometers just doesnt have the same touch as miles does when youre trying to show how far away something is

  • ppl in Aus still say miles sometimes when referring to distance . . particularly older people

  • a lot of famous landmarks are also reffered to by miles... i.e. the dog on the tuckerbox is 5 miles from Gundegai, not 8km, Melb to sydney is often reffered to as being a 500M distance, rather than 800km.

  • All old Aussies still say shit like miles, feet and inches.

  • anyone knows the soundtrack after 1.22?

    thanks in advance!

  • I was recruited to see this movie at a 'test' screening in Melbourne a couple of months back. I went in knowing nothing about it and it was fantastic! It wasn't completely finished but was great. Whilst it is very funny, it was a lot more serious than you may think. I must say, it did have one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen though! I'm going to definitely go and see it again!

  • Really looking forward to seeing it and so is the town of Emerald in Central Queensland as it really put us on the map.

  • yay emerald :) got friends from there

  • thats my dad in the blue shirt 1:28. feeling the pulse as it said in a previous comment...

some of this was shot in warrnambool my hometown.. :)

  • It's about time there was anoither great Aussie movie... been too long and the movie Australia does not count as most of it was crap!.

  • Indeed, that movie made me vomit with rage

  • You should have seen the Doctor in the movie if you were feeling sick. (1m28secs in blue shirt feeling pulse of dead wife). He would have finished you off. A real bush doctor - no training at all. (He's my brother.)

  • haha robert?

    is that you?

  • Look forward to seeing it, especially as it stars an old school friend of my daughters.
