  • Thats not true . Drum&Bass comes from Jungle . The Junglist movement was initiated in the 90's in Englan mate.

  • nope its from jamacia in the 80's

  • yes. my exact thoughts. i saw drum n bass and iwayne so you figure your aboutta hear sum ruthless basslines and relentless drums over the sweet voice of i wayne.. guess not

  • stop hating!

    gt off his back!!!

listen to the words...think its good

  • a drum&bass mix withtout any dnb in it lol

you do know what is drum&bass right ?

  • true. but the whole term DRUM & BASS comes from reggae, its the riddim section w/o guitars, horns, vocals etc. tho this isnt even a riddim section, roots music is the roots of all dnb, dubstep, jungle so on and so forth. any true junglist will let you know that

  • true for the term. but not true for the music. i mean no one use drum&bass anymore, instead you call it "instrumental".

and the dnb i'm talking about was way more influenced by the techno/rave scene rather than reggae roots. but i do agree with you concerning Jungle.

  • yea true, i was gonna say all electro music but thatd be a lie haha. mainly jungle indeed, ive been into roots from i was born n raised yaknoe, and naturally got into jungle in the mid 90s with its heavy usage of reggae terms such as yardie & rudeboy and even how they started to have MC's or DeeJays toastin over dem badbwoy riddims!

im still onna healthy diet of jungle oriented music from Chase & Status, Caspa, KromeStar, Skibadee and im actually good frens with EWUN if youve heard of him..

  • yeah i've been a reggae roots fan from the very begining too :p but for the past few years i've been heavily involved with electronic music, especially dnb, late jungle, breakcore, idm..

ewun.. i've seen that somewhere on a track with evol intent.. i think.. i'm not sure

  • yes yes, evol intent would be the sound!

got nuff tracks from him if yur interested i can send a couple to ya

  • great channel by the way, i love your vids :p

  • respet! thanks fa tunin bredda, glad you enjoyed

  • Drum n bass comes from jungle in the late 80's in England! Drum and bass began as a musical paradigm shift of the United Kingdom breakbeat hardcore and rave scene!

  • I though drum and bass was fast. It usualy (always?) has a fast beat..

  • i respect i wayne, he knows his music

  • i love love this chune here.

  • STR8 WE A BUN A XMAS!!!

  • gota-nice jams

  • This is what's happening now.

    Different melodies for different crowds.

This song is very influential for those who seek proper influence. You're requesting for the fathers/mothers of reggae to play how the kids do, its up to these 'kids' to learn and follow through. blessup.

  • Well, I still think this sucks, they should listen to their fathers and mothers and learn how to play. I don't think we want the wheel reinvented, do we?

  • I prefer the roots reggae, but this is not bad. I think I Wayne is a good artist, and this is a nice new style :)

    bless

  • nice song!!

but drum and bass? i don`t think so :D

  • :)...there are three different versions to this track. Maybe it's labelled drum'n'bass because they are the most prominent sounds in this song and that which seperates this piece from the original or the acoustic version. :). bless.

  • @serphonic ... That what I said,.... ain't no drum and bass here ... I the original song has it...

  • no watch u fren them new nickas new sliper nor the thing that gliters

  • yes yes vanity deserve no worship

god deserve worship 4 he givz us everything we desire

  • sooo real, NO VANITY LOVE for the I, praise the almighty for he who blesses you

  • great song .. bless reggae roots!

  • smooth tune-
