  • BEST MASK IN THE WORLD, MASK-MAKER!! You should actually make copies of that mask and take them to costume stores so everyone can buy it!!

I tried to make that same mask, but that didn't worked so well.

  • Very nicely done, the mask looks great dude. I've always wanted to make a latex mask, and now I know where to get supplies, thanks!

  • Lol. This was fun to watch. :) Great job on the mask.

  • EPIC IS IT FOR SALE?????????????????/

  • I'll use brown crape hair, spirit gum, hair gel, brown makeup, and cheap prosthetic vampire-fangs!

  • Very nice work for your fisrt mask...you have a talent for sculpture for sure..have you made any others? I just finished a Planet of the Apes gorilla...

  • just buy a gorilla suit with fangz

  • this is extremely impressive. what was the cost of all of this?

  • I come from a background of mask making and this is pretty damn good. Cheers!

  • That's actually quite good.

  • Excellent job. There's a lot of work you put into that.

  • Great job dude.

  • Awesome job! I love Wolfie!!

  • David (my brother) is probably trying out his wolfman technique in the happy hunting grounds in the great beyond... Like the movies, his headstone reflects his multi-talented star quality... AND DAVID W. OTTENI

  • Tonight we toast our happy host, Farrooohlaaaa, farrroooleeeee!

From one old school guy to another, nice work. Jack, Chreiton (SP? ) and Uncle Forry are all high fiveing you from the great backlot in the sky. COUNT on it!

    Norm

  • Just pure Awesomeness. Thumbs uppy.

  • Wow, talk about old school.

    Well done.

  • Dude.. it looks better than the original!! awsome

  • Awesome job, man! =D

  • your epic dude, and even when i was a little kid the lon chaney jr (his real name which isnt widely known is Creighton Chaney) wolfman was one of my favorite movies

  • at the beginning of this clip if you pause it. the wolfman looks at you with an evil stare.

  • For all you fans out there of Spooky Martin, aka David W. Otteni, there is bad news. Dave passed away on Oct 15th, do to complications of an Aortic Disection. He will be sorely missed by all. We all love you Dave!

  • he will always be remembered.

  • @neowarrior1 Sorry to hear it, but we can all take comfort in the idea that he's gone home and that he and the gang are all swapping stories of the great times they had in our realm. Not saying I believe it, but who knows? To quote The Statler Brothers, "If tonight they're all together and an extra hand is dealt, I hope it's Daddy, Clive, Bay and Sam and Franklin Roosevelt!"

    Norm

  • that was really coolthe classic horror films are by far better than anything ouot now

  • great job. i love it when people make their own masks and costumes.again great work.

  • that looks great!

  • Oh wow man you hit the nail on the head with this mask! I wish I was a mask maker or make-up artist and could give myself the look for Halloween. It'd take about 6 hours to apply and a few hours to remove, but it'd be worth it. Awesome job though. So much better than the ones at the stores.

  • Excellent!! I'm going to be 51 in December and I've been a follower of the old Universal films since I was old enough to watch TV. I've been hearing lately that Universal is gearing up to reboot all the old monster movies, beyond "The Wolf Man". Hope they do the originals justice. Again, congratulations on a fine job. Great narration too.

  • Looks good!

  • one of the best homemade masks I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! Totally amazing with the Afro wig hair. Love it.

  • Cool!

  • Thanks for the nice comments, folks. I appreciate it.

  • fantastic exellent job. its people like you who make me still believe that i can make a cool holloween costume.

  • great job

  • Great!

     I'm sure that If Mr.Chaney,Jr.,Mr.Pierce and Mr.Chaney's

grandson Mr.Ron Chaney had seen this they would

    approve of your efforts..sir.

  • This is amazing for your first mask.

  • That really is something to be proud of. Considering the limited budget, you really did a first class mask. Nice scream test too, but though you may have a future in mask making, you're a little weak in the acting department :0).

  • Great job! But the screen test? Well, problem is Chaney wasn't wearing a mask so there's no true comparison! nice job on it, tho!!

  • Even a man who is pure in heart, and says his prayers by night...

  • Superb job!!! Love the enthusiasm for the classic movies. I would love to try that mask-making, though I don't know if mine would come out as good as yours. You should do a remake. Your black-and-white version at the end was flawless.

  • Excellent job...I to love the old Wolfman movies have them all. In my younger days I have made my own wolfman mask also. Long hours sculpting in clay and casting using plaster of Paris. I even had a chest piece. Lots of fun! keep up the great work!

  • hey man if your interested my uncle does that stuff for a living.. and he has both the A&C mask and lon chaney from the original

  • Ohhh, Chick! Please don't wear that mask!

    Wilbur

  • Is that an A&C reference?

    Well played, sir. Well played.

  • Yeppers! 'Followed your link over from the Aurora list.

A&C Meet Frank is such a GREAT flick! If you watch it on a big screen, you can catch the little smile on Glen Stranges' face, while Costello is sitting on his lap. He kept cracking up and ruining the take. The outtake is on the old Zacherley "Horrible Horror" tape.

    Norm

  • @theshadow1932 GREAT ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN reference. I love that movie!

  • Hey man, looks like a blast.... Sadly, I don't have the talent to do anything like that.

  • awsome job there dave.
