Iran used to be a free republic that had strong feeling toward the old Soviet Union, US and the Europeans pushed the shah as a western puppet to protect there oil interest and to keep the USSR out of the Persian Gulf, "hint history repeats" the shah turned on there plans so comes the Khomeini that was exiled in France, Throw Iraq to Iran, think about the military power of pre Islamic state and the threat it had to the oil interest and where did it all go once the shah was out..

I am just stating some of the facts. I am glad and my heart is with the people of Iran standing up to this fundamentalist Ahmadinejad, Mousavi is definately better than Ahmadinejad and I'm glad the Iranian people are willing to fight for their votes to be counted properly.

I am just telling you it has in no way alleviated my concerns about Iran and the responsible direction I think it should take in regards to the previously mentioned issues/concerns.
