@Jesse22H There wouldn't be any engine damage if the cars weren't running when the garage was flooded, the water would just sit in the intake and would need to be drained before attempting to start them again. The real problems with cars that have been flooded are the electrical system (gets fried), corrosion from being submerged in dirty water as well as water sitting in places that it shouldn't and mould in the interior if they aren't dried out properly.

@Jesse22H engine does not get damaget from a shot water exposure. well sure if you left it there for weeks and weeks then its a different story. but here.. you just change the oil, check for corrosion and thats pretty much it. the real concern here is the interior and some electric parts.
