The "trap door" is explained in earlier videos. It's the drainage to the city lines, and it is square, it's just not square to the doorway. That's the way it was built from the start unfortunately.

How long do you have to wait before applying the grout?

@mysticalma Do you mean applying the sealer or the grout? For grout 24 hours after you lay the tiles, for the sealer, make sure you wait a minimum of 2 weeks for the grout to dry and set properly. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
