R2 is no Iranian Dna. the original aryan Haplogroups are R1a1* R1b J2 , G and some I thats the Haplogroups mostly found among Iranians. R2 is mostly found in zentral asia and northindia it doesen´t have much to do with Iranians.

@Garudaa nazdize test is not the only one they are a few more. everyone shows the same result igenea even found more slawic blood among kurds than nazdize go ask them. in fact the test were from different regions if you get a sample from you brother you don´t need to get one from you too because it will be exactly the same. Thats why its not so important how big the sample is but how the distance of the samples are. you can´t realy be serios expecting kurds have more indian blood than farsis

@Garudaa not true i have seen this DNA test from nazdize by my own if you read the hole sites you will see that they wrote they used samples from different Regions. R2 is no Iranian Dna. the original aryan Haplogroups are R1a1* R1b J2 , G and some I thats the Haplogroups mostly found among Iranians. R2 is mostly found in zentral asia and northindia it doesen´t have much to do with Iranians.

@Garudaa i don´t know where you got your genetic facts but sorry bro they are definitly wrong. among Kurmanci speakers in TUrkey they found 8% R2 but in hole (with zazaki) it´s up to 5% also mention that the kurds from Georgia are not more than 4-5 thousand and ONLY EZIDIS. I think i wrote that ezidi kurds are originaly from india. Their genetic marker shows that like 30-40% of them are R2 while 30-40 % J2.

@Garudaa Yes there are connection to them, but that doesn't mean they where originally kurds, the word kurd existed before these people, the sumerians called over 3000 B.C the mountain people in north for Karda. Medes, Mittanis and Hurrians are believed to either be these "Karda" (kurds) or they where assimilated among kurds. But there is little traces and research on these people.

The original proto-iranic(aryan) word for land is bhumi, welayat or welat is arabic. in southern Iran we speak a local persian dialect from Laarestani language family (South-western branch) which is also directly derived from middle-persian. Laarestani should not be confused with lorestani (totally different). This ancient local dialect is more indo-european than any kurdish dialects. Only modern farsi is arabized.

Majority of this people u find in Tajikistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc are all divided in iranic(aryan) tribes such as scythians, parthians, persians, medes, saka, sogdians, bactrians, alans etc, and yes they are relative to kurds if the evidence support that kurds are descendant of medes. Because the termology of "Kurd" is not mentioned among this aryan tribes. in Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan etc many speaks persian and not kurdish. Ishtan = Land in old-persian.

turks are secretion waste from the former mongolians. I just did my phd on it and I admit that turks are just waste products left after the invasion of the mongolians. Kurds have trace back to 1000BC, they have existed for 3000 years and they are those who have been least mixed, due to the difficult accessability to the of the "mountain people". they were protected from any mixing with other ethinc groups. Kurds have been underestminated for too long. From Turkey, I want to say free kurdistan!

Ani was built by Armenians and it was the capital of medival Armenian kingdom. It was later captured by seljuks. The place is full of Cross stones (Khachkar) and Armenian writings. Please get your facts straight.

In 1072 the Seljuks sold Ani to the Shaddadids, a Muslim Kurdish dynasty that had originated in Ganja. The Shaddadids generally pursued a conciliatory policy towards the citys overwhelmingly Armenian and Christian population, and actually married several members of the Bagratid nobility. Whenever the Shaddadid governance became too intolerant, the population would appeal to the Christian kingdom of Georgia for help. The Georgians captured Ani eventually returning it to the Shaddadids.

According to my search(Ottoman Empire archives), Kurds in Turkey are mainly of Turkic origin. Because of the feodal structure prior to Republic Revolution most of the Turkoman tribes were assimilated into kurdish language because of their prohibited sect Alevi. Being Sunni has been highly valued and promoted. As Turkomans adopt this sect, they also learned a Kurdish dialect Kurmanci in the land of Mir's(LandLords). This process began in 1500's and ended in 1900's with nation state.
