Autofocus is your friend when you don't know much about video cameras.

I posted a comment about the focus being messed up! And the camera was on autofocus. I don't know why it didn't work. I have had video cameras since 1981 so

I think I know my way around them.

Well was it out of focus in the viewfinder (when shooting)? Otherwise maybe you did something in post.

No, The raw footage is out of focus.
