This is great, I'm mainly a woodwind player but am into brass a bit, but I love music like this, these guys are incredible. Just the sheer sound that only the 7 of them can make is incredible, they never disappoint! :)
aii, i play bassoon and love these guys!! i think the dislikes were those punks from high school who still thinks bands gay and has no appreciation of music!!!
@ImBigALcz Thomas is using his own model Gansch horn schagerl. i'm not sure about Robert und Roman but i think they also have a schagerl trumpets and i have no clue what the others play
@AcidLifeform They're using rotary valve trumpets. They work like french horns, but you don't have to stick your hand up a massive hole and it's already in Bb.
That WAS an interesting performance. Pretty funny if you know the actual piece.
I think, though, that even people who are NOT familiar with this piece could probably pick up some of the places where it's this group's individual rendition rather than the way the actual piece goes.
@Proximitus yes he used to play at GK and he is former member. His name is Sebastian Fuchsberger. Martin Temmel is current trombonist at the mentioned group
@MaulawiUdo No, this is quality entertainment. They don't speak english, but I find these people hilarious and wonderfully talented. That's good showmanship my friend.
is this from a DVD?

@MaulawiUdo (1) You have no sense of humor. (2) I doubt you play well enough to "fool around" this way.
