The real story of Maud is this: Maude was a 9 yr old indian which tried to kill a settler, after beng chased through the forest, she was caught and brutally raped for 10 days straight; after they finally killed her they dismembered the body, ate her and left nothing but bones. Her skull was taken as a trophy, and to this day her headless ghost is still looking for that skull, and after she finds it, she can return to her hellish torment in hell.
I know of a "STORY" of a Native American girl that was suppose to have been killed by some type of solder she was suppose to be the daughter of the Penacook Indians chef (from Penacook NH) there is suppose to be some type of monument to her on the spot she was kill (Its a VERY violent story) and the crackhead that I went to high school with hag out there I don't know why but know them it can't be for good reasons "DAMN CRACKHEADS" but I don't know if any of this is true I never went down there
i go there all the time to freak out ppl. the story is she was supposedly a witch she had a house out there and they stoned her and burned down her house an burried there. i have heard so many stories like if you pee on the grave it will sizzel and bubble and then you will die!
Ekonk hill turkey farm in the beginning. I live by Hell's hollow XD. The story I heard was that she was half indian and was stoned to death because see was accused of being a witch...don't know which is true.
Oh man I love going to the Turkey Farm, I believe there was a ice cream place next door (I can't remember if it's the same place or not) Awesome ice cream. As for which legend is true, beats me, there are several versions.
