Pilot brand "Frixion" gel pens at Office Depot do the SAME THING... but they're 3 for $5.50, not one for $30. Must be the same technology... works like a charm!

This would have been awesome to use a side shot, and a pull cord on the boss, you basically tug him away and have him look like he's flying away from the fridge and then put in your effects and boom it looks like he's being blown up by the fridge even more so.

Just make sure to have something soft for him to land on out of shot too when you yank him away like they do in the movies. Being yanked away by a cord isn't very soft so you need to make sure the blow is softened a bit by using some padding possibly on the trajectory. You could also speed up the shot of him being yanked away to make it more dramatic or at least funny and low budget looking.
