  • 1 cigarette should not kill you. Though as a smoker I don't recommend anyone to try that first cigarette.

I smoked a pack when i was 16 and then quit. 9 years later I tried it again and it has developed into a 2 year half a pack a day habit.

Serious junkie on nicotine I don't recommend it. If you have to smoke anything smoke weed, at least it isn't addictive as long as you don't chronic smoke.

  • "Ms. Sebelius noted that, every day, 4,000 Americans under the age of 18 years try their first cigarette, and that 1,000 of them become daily smokers. Some 1,200 Americans die every day as a result of tobacco-related causes, she said, and the report is part of the Obama administration’s ongoing strategy to completely eliminate tobacco use." If daily 1000 start smoking and 1200 die every day, it seems that the tabacco use will eliminate gradually on a natural way :D

  • I guess Dr Regina won't pass away from smoking rather than obesity which indirectly she promotes

  • @dblackjohn but she is a black woman that Obama empowered. She can't die.

  • even 1 will cause a heart attack?

that's the same logic that even one fried chicken wing can cause a heart attack.

i'll buy that it's detrimental to your health, but this seems like pure scare tactics. Keep in mind that the last 3 studies to go out that have shown cigarettes to be overwhelmingly lethal (especially second hand smoke) have all been proven to have deliberately manipulated data and have since been proven falsified in order to reach this conclusion.
