I have loved this song since it was a single and I never knew until now that there was even a video 4 it!!! Did Much Music have some kind of an assinine problem with this one 2 and refuse 2 play it just like they did with warrant's Cherry Pie?

What's with the fuckin ads? Goddamn machine always tuggin at our wallet chains. No wonder the world is in the state it's in. But, good to hear this tune again.
band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989.[1] The band reached stardom during the early 1990s with hit singles like "Don't Treat Me Bad" and "All She Wrote", as well as their signature ballads "I Live My Life for You", "Love of a Lifetime", and "When I Look Into Your Eyes". At the 1992 American Music Awards, FireHouse won the award for Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band. They were chosen over Nirvana and Alice in Chains.
Think we're talking about styles here not eras ...firehouse did start in the late 80s and their influence does hail from that time and were real popular till early 90s...till grunge took over...or at least that's my memory of events...in any case who cares man .. whoever doesn't like it can close off this tab or click the 'x' on the top of their browser :) or alternatively, search for "Bieber" in the search box above.. hahaha!!
Doesn't Jared Leto looks exacly like C.J Snare back then? Seriously I'm a straight guy so I don't know shit about male actors names so I had to google it to find out, its like he was born again within 7 years.
If somone ever make a movie with firhouse in it no matter how short its appearence is Jared should play C.J. he is his clone.
@mqmqmwmw LOL..yes indeed..I was just going to say that the lead singer has such a good ol boy face..kinda reminds me of Jim Carey..no tough look at all..
but a good voice.. i love their rythym still....good songs....
@KramerW5150 well , i Dont know how you calculate ,myaby im wrong but they started 90's early tho i think 91 they were pretty famous band was formed in 90's and FireHouse continued to release new material throughout the late 1990s and into the early 2000s they were never 80's dude sry for spelling mistakes :D
@n2uke so when is guns n roses from ? the late 2000s? they just released chinese democracy...firehouse started late 80s first hit came out 91, read in the description, all there hits were out before 93 cuz thats when grunge was in the mainstream
@DeathBat12051992 Ugh don't act all high and mighty as if you know everything..this was a single off their debut album, it was released in 1990. NOT the 80's.
@pompei1968 You are just old and mad that your music is inert now dude, I'm not saying all modern music is fantastic because I think quite the opposite. But Nirvana created a new genre to fit THEIR style instead of just creating the same old shit. I can garuntee you wouldn't be saying the same thing now if all the bands sounded the same as Firehouse, you would be sick of it. Great track though, shame about your comment and spelling though.
@exit209 Oh sorry, I forgot that I'm not allowed to voice my opinion. Firstly I would like to point out his mis-use of "your" instead of "you're" and "pearl jame". Secondly, the post HE replied to was 11 months old, and his response was only 1 month ago. Idiot.
i love this song, thanks for posting!!! I seen Firehouse in the late 1990s with Slaughter, Quiet Riot, Warrrant at the Iowa State Fair! It was a rockin great time!!!
@6stringedsignseeker there wasnt garage bands til nirvana..grunges message was that any talentless douches could be in a band... now look at all the talentless douches we have, hair metal all the way
this sucks just as much now as it did when i was a teen ..i am so glad nirvana came along and wiped this crap off the face of the music scene.horrible fuckin garbage that should never be allowed to be played.

Remember when songs had positive messages of you can do it?-right now(van halen), eye of the tiger(survivor), and countless others like these. The 80's WERE the best, early 90's pretty cool too!
Life was simple then. That's the way those of us that grew up then liked it. We wouldn't have it any other way. Bands like Firehouse, Alias, and Bad English all had the 80s flavor....but welcomed us to the 90's. What I wouldn't give to go back for even just a moment.
I used to play this song (and record) so much so much so much. Then somehow lost it. But I have it again. Just sounds like a bridge between 80's and early 90's before music turned to toal crap. Such great vocals, melody, riffs, everything. Epitomizes the 80's.
All these years later and they still sound exactly like they did in the 80's. Firehouse is a blast to see in concert - even now. Can't wait to see them again.
Here in Winnipeg, I used to tell people to take their cable out of their TV and stick it in their stereo to hear this song on a Fargo radio station on cable radio because our new rock station CITI FM refused to play lots of stuff like this, and also refused to tell us on air why they wouldn't play it. They were big on oldies from the '60s/'70s back then, though. Now they're classic rock, but with the same playlist as back then. No Firehouse at all! Find them on the web and heap venom on them!
This band had some Killer tunes....a fave!!!

This came out at the tail end of the glam rock era. Unfortunately Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails killed it.
