@MADDOG6400 Supposedly, the over-the-air rights to the series now rest with MGM? (DiC/Cookie Jar obviously still maintains ownership and video/DVD rights.) I may be wrong, but it likely had something to do with the distribution of the 1986 movie compilation of the series.
If TimeWarner were to buy out MGM, maybe a Boomerang airing COULD happen... but IMO, a revival on CBS Saturday mornings (which DiC/Cookie Jar programs now) is probably more likely.

I know Teletoon Retro in Canada has the rights. They are already broadcasting Inspector Gadget in their regular schedule. Too bad Teletoon doesn't exist in the US. :'(

@myronfalwell It's illegal, from what I heard, to have a cable/satellite provider that's not from the US. Even if it was legal, I highly doubt the satellite signals will reach Cleveland. I know they can't reach here in Southern California.

Considering that Boomerang is owned by Turner Broadcasting and Heathcliff is owned Dic Entertainment, the chances of that happening are VERY slim.

Although that would be nice, Heathcliff isn't a show from Turner Broadcasting (Boomerang/Cartoon Network people) so therefore, DiC can sue them.
