To everyone who keeps bashing the Milltek exhaust, it is designed to sound just about stock, while freeing up the exhaust. It takes it from the stock 2.25" piping to a full 2.5" piping. Great for people who want more power, but not more noise. :)

Its an Audi so if you take care of it it'll take care of you. They're reasonably cheap to maintain if you do it yourself. If you get one thats been thrashed around your looking for ALOT of problems.

50k miles and constant problems with xenon light bulbs(Unit),2 door locks, turbo valve, oil leak so had to change valve gasket covers, CVT leaking fluid (minimal though), steering rack broken so it leaked and a lot & paid 2k for that, headlight washers died, fuel pump changed...that's all I remember right now, I'm sure I missed something. I babied my car...that's all I can say. I'm a 2008 2.0T, hope I don't get problems.

WOAH, i just got a 2003 a4 1.8t with 85k a few days. i made sure i got the 5 speed tiptronic 'cause i read about the cvt problems. it was well taken care of, but i'm still searching for warrenties to be on the safe side. thanks for info and good luck with your 2008 2.0T.

Yeah lucky you...I dunno what's going on with CVT trannies but I don't like them at least not on the older models...I like manual trannies, they seem to be more reliable...check for oil sludge too...that can be a problem, take the oil cap, look inside and see if there is any visible sludge...if it has, get rid of it...

whats the difference with the apr chip, is there a significant difference? apr claims almost 50Hp and 90 ftlbs, is it that significant?

Sounds sexy. Definitely better than stock. Heard an RS4 2006 with a miltek. Ruined it. Stock was so much smoother. This was a good call for this engine. Does it use more gas with a different exhaust?

not really. the only reason it would use more gas is when your puching it.

@concantenation Actually an intake and exhaust can improve your gas mileage as long as your not running it hard. Car makes more torque and power at lower RPMs. Lower RPMs = Less firing strokes, therefore less gas.
