yea not that bad but im due for another x-ray to my back soon to see what it looks like. it feels bad now.

it was 9 degrees wen i found out in 9th grade back in 2002. now i think its 13 degrees

I'm going for a Epidural injection to help with my pain first.

Doc said I need the surgery. Scoliosis and degenerated discs.

I'm almost 50yrs old and very nervous.

It gives me hope the more I see that others have gone through the surgery and now their backs are better.

@2020iloveme No. They could take them off but it didn't change anything. My back won't be flexible if they take off the rods. So it meant only another - unnecessary - operation. (:

@grevejp44 i wouldn't say life changing.. i mean it helped me grow a couple inches so i could be in modeling and stuff but i just had the surgery in june so it hasn't quite been a year yet.

How do you feel after the surgery? Is it better than before? I am a possible contender for the operation too and want to hear from others with experience if it is really worth it and reliable

@isa11polo I was awake a few minutes after the op's end. I was very tired and I asked for many times that: Am I "finished"? :) And I was thirsty. The next day (the surgery was on 16th of June), on 17th of June I stood up, and I walked some circles at the ICU. :) I felt better and better every day. I think it's important that you speak with operated people about this - because it will be maybe easier ('cause you broadly know what's waiting for you - if you will have the surgery). Best wishes!
