@ivanovitch57 i can see your point i.e. everyone should be able to live where they want but what pisses me off and a lot of brits is asylum laws are quite clear if you are fleeing a country you settle in the first safe country not the last one which just happens to be the one that gives benefits (that makes them economic migrants) so whilst you done well studying history now maybe its time to read up on asylum rules and migration as we are the ones being raped every payday

@rjduffell See, I do understand the view that immigration is the reason for unemployment, and to some extent that is true, but the fact of the matter is that far more jobs are lost due to British companies exporting jobs as opposed to importing workers. I'm from Northampton, a town famed for its factories, now there isn't a single one. You can't put that on immigrants.
