I think it's funny that people act soooo shocked that she lost weight so fast. lol. I know some people do struggle losing weight, but like she said if you get hardcore about it and focus it can start to drop off pretty quick and for her presonally it was a quick process, some people do lose quickly when they start really trying so I'm surprised everyone seems so shocked. True,some others take longer...but it's just funny that everyone was *gasping*.lol.Her reaction to that was priceless too.lol.

Ricki does a great job of explaining why she chose to give birth at home. I think a lot of people misunderstand home birth and would be encouraged to know more about the facts concerning.

I had a home birth with my second baby and I would certainly describe it as empowering - I learned to trust myself and surrender to my body instead of others. I'm pregnant again and will absolutely have a home birth unless there is a good reason for me to go to the hospital.

No Ricki has never had Cancer she just potrayed someone who did. I loved that movie, my mom was diagnosed in 2003 and when we watched it together and it truly brang us closer.
