Hey I'm 15 and I'm a really skinny guy who is always getting told how skinny I am at school and me just looking in a mirror I don't even like it. I have a bench but I don't know if it's even possible for me at my age to gain any muscle and I'm wondering if I should even start trying because Honestly I can't handle being the skinny guy out of all my bigger friends who they even make fun of me. If I dedicate myself would this work?
@Darksiegify Dedication and education (on exercise) will always work. You can lift at 15 I can send you a picture of my 13 y/o cousin who is shredded just to prove it lol
I've been working out 4-5 days a week pretty hard for about a month and a half. I've been taking one scoop (about 5g) of creatine and 4-6 scoops of whey protein everyday. Creatine before and protein throughout the day. I've also been eating around 3500 calories a day and in this month and a half I've only gained about 2 pounds. what am i doing wrong?? any help is appreciated.
@xbox360wisher Muscle is difficult to gain but space your meals out every two to three hours and make sure you are eating enough protein. No less than 200 grams a day.
I would not worry about wighing yourself for at least three months as if your a slow gainer it will only make you feel negative. Make sure you are sleeping no less than eight hours a night and your performing your exercises properly with good form.
Lastly stay with it, if it was easy every one would be doing it!

Um.. Idk if it has already been mentioned.. But is there any chance you can tell me the brands of the supplements you take.. Some are alittle hard to read and I want to make sure I get the right ones that are best.. I have protein powder that is chocolate and it is so damn nasty..:(
@ChickMagnetStudios most supplements are labeled 18 plus because your body is still growing and it can have a lot of negative effects on you if it is taken wrong. Its best to avoid supplements like that. if your weight lifting at 14 some whey protein, multivitamins, and a good nutrition will be all you really need.

@SNpArAdice If you are trying to gain bottom line, increase your calorie intake at least by 500 additional calories a day... which would give you a surplus of 3500 calories and that is equal to 1lb. Another bad thing about Weight gaining supplements is the amount of carbs, since they are mostly sugar carbs it could increase the chance of diabetes.

all you "hard gainers" need to get your priorities straight, 'weight' and 'muscle' are two different things and you cant just eat something that some dude on youtube says is good or take some garbage supplement and expect to gain "weight". @richie64rich Weight gain pills actually don't work. They are basically a scam. You'll find that many of the ingredients that go into them are the same ingredients as a regular multi-vitamin. Don't fall for this "quick fix." You cannot simply take a pill and gain weight. Hopefully I just saved you a bunch of money and frustration :-)

@Davonte9 Creatine is good in powder or pill form but it will digest faster in powder form. Remember that creatine monohydrate esp. is a weight gainer due to it's water weight it gives you. You will see some gain from creatine but not as much as most people think. Additional amount of creatine from what your body creates from the ATP Creatine Phosphate cycle will give you additional energy for the extra lets rep, which will give you additional effects like increase of strength.

@richie64rich I tried weight gain pills and they DO work. Some may be a scam but others basically make your appetite increase dramatically. I once gained 15 pounds by using them but lost it all when I stopped taking them, hence the decrease in my appetite. They don't necessarily MAKE you gain weight, but they help by increasing your appetite and desire for food.

@YaBoiMAK Personally I do a loading phase. I take 4 5-gram servings of creatine a day for 5 days. Then I take 5 grams a day to maintain creatine levels. On weight training days I add an additional 5 grams after my workout.

Hey Jeff, I was wondering on the loading phase with creatine, your comment says you do 4 5-gram servings of creatine for 5 days, then you take 5 grams a day. you do that for a month right? then do you do that all over again or what? im really confused, please help! Thanks!

@RayCore89 Hi Ray, It's geared towards skinny guys who have a difficult time gaining weight and building muscle mass. Most "advice" out there is simply BAD advice. I found this out the hard way through trial and error. The Weight Gain Blueprint program basically cuts through all the B.S. and lays out the facts. Then shows you step-by-step what to do to make the fastest gains possible. Hardgainers/skinny guys need to train differently than most people. And this program addresses that.

Hey Jeff, I am 21, I am 5'10 and I weigh approximately 145 pounds. I have been trying to gain muscle mass for the past 3 years and it has been ineffective for long periods of time, probbaly because of my inconsistency and the food we consume in Asia, which mainly consist of rice and noodles with a few slices of meat on top of it and it certainly lack protein. I ain't getting no younger and I would appreciate your valuable advice!

Thank you so very much. I'm a woman that's going through alot of stress right now and as a result have lost alot of weight. I was already skinny before. 5 '7 120lbs went down t o 111lbs and the change is dramatic. I didnt know about the flaxseed oil.

@YaBoiMAK Personally I do a loading phase. I take 4 5-gram servings of creatine a day for 5 days. Then I take 5 grams a day to maintain creatine levels. On weight training days I add an additional 5 grams after my workout.
