Thanks for this. David Niven in his book 'The Moon's a Balloon' spoke very kindly of Ann Sheridan. Didn't know she was a friend of Ava's.

@EnglishRoyale Yes, Ann was friends with Ava, but they probably weren't that close because of many things like many hours of work, but I do bet that they were friendly with each other when they got together. Thank you for the information about David Niven and what he said of her in his book.

I had her portrait on the wall many years ago without knowing who she was. And later I knew she was Ava Gardner's friend and they both used very bad language! Beautiful tribute to her!

@ArmandCatalano I don't think that Ann made a movie of that name. I am pretty sure that that film has Doris Day in it. You are probably thinking of Shine on Harvest Moon, which they both appear in. I liked her in that too. Thank you for the compliment, and I would like to say that I am extremely happy that you have always liked Ann. She definitely deserves it!
