@EnglishRoyale Yes, Ann was friends with Ava, but they probably weren't that close because of many things like many hours of work, but I do bet that they were friendly with each other when they got together. Thank you for the information about David Niven and what he said of her in his book.
I had her portrait on the wall many years ago without knowing who she was. And later I knew she was Ava Gardner's friend and they both used very bad language! Beautiful tribute to her!
@gatabella3 Yes, that is very true! I am glad that you found out who she was because I wouldn't like it if a face like hers was unknown to anyone. Thanks for the compliment!
@ArmandCatalano Your so right about that! She had so much class and nowadays you can barely find it anywhere. Here is a quote you might like spoken by Ann.
(About her time in Hollywood): "There was a certain kind of fantasy, a certain imagination that is not accepted now. The world is too small. Those were glamorous days."
@ArmandCatalano I don't think that Ann made a movie of that name. I am pretty sure that that film has Doris Day in it. You are probably thinking of Shine on Harvest Moon, which they both appear in. I liked her in that too. Thank you for the compliment, and I would like to say that I am extremely happy that you have always liked Ann. She definitely deserves it!
@BlondeCrazyDame Thank you so much! I know you love Ann very much and I just knew you would love and appreciate it. I loved making it because she was a wonderful woman and deserves remembrance.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me Toni! I will definitely make a tribute!

Thanks for this. David Niven in his book 'The Moon's a Balloon' spoke very kindly of Ann Sheridan. Didn't know she was a friend of Ava's.

Beautiful editing accompanied by a wonderful music! I know Ann Sheridan for films in which she had as partner Humphrey Bogart and James Cagney.
