I think he wanted to go in a different direction than the way TBS was going. TBS is going more mainstream and I think Fred is more into the poppier type of rock rather than the musical direction that TBS was going into...that or there was a big fight and Fred decided to leave the band? I do feel that Fred wanted to make a change in his life and do his own thing. I support people who decide to chase the dream and do what they want to do rather than being unhappy for whatever reason.

I think that TBS is getting a little to "anal" quite honestly. Their best album was their more independent album, "Tell All Your Friends"... Some good music on their newest album, but it's radio music to me. I support people who are looking to make music different than anyone else. I dig singing and listening to TBS and other artists, but the truth fucking rock bands are Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, KISS, Ozzy, Led Zepplin...

What's wrong with Led Zep? They are one of the top rock bands of all time. Their music has spanned decades. Not a lot of bands in the 80's and even 90's even play, and a lot of them aren't even remembered because they are the same carbon copy crap like everyone else. Most amazing bands do not get airplay because it's not whats "in" today and it's a shame.

Pink Floyd will always be one of the greatest bands of all time and all these bands that play for ten years are nothing compared to Radiohead, Lep Zepp, etc. This music, TBS is fun, but let's get real...where's the emotion within the music? Where will TBS be in a few years? I'm sorry, I just don't see a lot more albums out of them...Consider them done by 2012.

I only saw them live once and that just cuz they were turing with underOATH and of course when I saw them it was after I stopped liking them and after they were past their prime. TBS still performed and sounded good. They didnt play enough good classic TBS songs though it was all new Louder Now material which Im not a fan of. Liar and Make Damn Sure are good songs but I dont like the rest of the cd.
