I guess from reading comments here that I will be unpopular saying that I like the Boxmasters, enjoy Billy Bobs drumming, enjoyed most of his movies and don't think he has gone downhill as an actor. I think Gian Gomeshi is smug and should probably be reprimanded if he did agree to not talk about Thorntons acting career live and then broke his agreement with the guest.

I feel really bad for the rest of the band. Billy Bob Thorton was being a real jerk throughout the whole interview. Was he following in Juaquin Phoenix footsteps, being extremely illusive throughout the whole interview. The other guys seemed to be very proud of what they were doing and happy to talk about it, but they also seem to become very uncomfortable with the whole thing. The interviewer was great. He handled everything very well...very professional.

WAY TO GO BILLY! If he was interviewing Dwight Yoakum would he ask "So...what;s the deal with this musical career and is it gonna interfere with your acting?" I'm sure Billy feels that any reference about his acting career implies that people only listen to/buy the BOxmasters' album because 'Slingblade' sings on it and that's an insult to his bandmates and the music itself. Billy was playing music before he started acting (just like Elvis and Dwight). Billy, I don;t think you cussed ENOUGH!
