@peace1keeper - Iran has a gender apartheid against women, the previous elections were rigged by the Ayatollah (no democracy), protesters of this were attacked and killed (no freedom of expression, press), Ahmedinejad proclaims "there are no gays in Iran" so obviously there is no need for gay rights there either... and while different religions' places of worship exist there, there is hardly freedom of religion with bahais and christians being discriminated against.

I don't care whether someone is an Arab from Palestine, or a Jew from Israel. We are all a human being who are from the same place and that place is called 'earth' so we are all brothers and sisters. Lets have respect for each other because we only live together once. Let's make it peaceful and happy.
@GospodinMilan I don't think I agree... However I do think that Israel's neighbours could take a leaf out of her book when it comes to democracy and human rights

another thing, you didn't mention but could have - the arab members of parliament in many cases do not only not support israel, but they actively oppose the existence of the state of israel - that is how far israel's democracy goes!!!
if only there were democracy in the entire middle east. if only there were peace.
the fact that there is bad public opinion has nothing to do with it - people make misinformed decisions because of the media and that is how bad public opinion comes along...
every country has its problems and areas in which to grow - israel is no different there... but israel is miles ahead of the rest of its neighbours
