No wonder it's called "Guilt." The writer implies they may be terrorists and murderers, just before they murder him... And murder it was. The organisation is not merely seeking to protect itself, since if Neville knew anything, he would already have told the Inspector. So they just killed him as punishment. And that in spite of the fact they liked him as a man. Sending the message "Betray us and your dead" is the only possible motivation they could have.
The tone of series two was different to series one. I think ot picks up as the series progresses. Not sure if that was deliberate or just a result of success leading to a larger budget that they had to adjust to. I remember noticing they had more incidental music in series two that was annoying for a couple of episodes then they dropped it.
Presumably you know UKTV history is running the lot between now and January, every night at 9pm. Early Christmas or what. The one with the monks was on last night - particularly fine script I thought.
Hi, Yes, I've just been dancing around my front room with joy. So excited that the whole lot will be on proper telly again. Hope you are able to catch it. I would make it compulsory viewing for EVERYONE. Heheh They're Up to the
Actually only the 2nd episode of series 2, with the rather curious Russian evaders sub-plot and the death of Yvette, which I just missed. So I don't know how she bought it!
Post away! I'm sure I can wait for the surprise. Generally I'm finding the quality of series 2 well down on series 1. Last night's Lucky Piece was slow, a bit dull and not that well plotted. Plus Natalie is very whingy!

The women in this are more edible than an edible thing on warm stiff bread, or as I like to call it, toast.

Sorry, of course, that's what I was thinking of. I plan on posting the ep where Yvette dies, but if you'd like to know I can drop you a line.
