Wow I don't get it why so many people find Kintaro hard to beat. I can always win by jumping and aiming for his head with my kicks. That way he never throws you. If you aim for the chest, he'll most likely block and throw:)

So what's the difference between aiming for the head and aiming for the chest? How do you time your jump kick to affect that?

Watching you jump kick Kintaro is not really that fun to watch. You don't switch it up that much and don't take advantage of certain AI events. I think you play really well, but not as interesting as it could be. Instead of jumping so intensely you can wait and see if he's just going to jump towards you - he wont hurt you and you can uppercut him. You also could use more special moves against him to keep us interested - sweep kicks are excellent because they avoid fireball/uppercut + good range

very impressive TotalMK, but i was surprised u didnt use the fan-lift trick with Kitana, like jump to him with a punch, he will block, then use the fan-lift, jump kick-air fans, then when in corner add a uppercut.. this works on Arcade, PS2, MAME.. ^^

he used to be difficult to me as well. But I found a way to easily beat him like you could possibly flawless him with this method. For every time you jump, he attempts to intercept you with an uppercut right? Well if you jump kick too early, he will most likely guard it then slam you from midair. The way to beat him is to jump towards him, wait till he uppercuts, misses, & then you jump kick him before you touch the ground. He falls for it all the time, unless he's in the corner.

i really like it how i can win every other battle in this game and ANY other mortal kombat game, but then kintaro just comes out of nowhere, rips my hopes and dreams out, and shits on them. this is the only mortal kombat game i have not beaten.

There's something that trully sucks when playing as Scorpion. When u do the "throw spear" move, and the opponent manages to block the spear, scorpion will get paralyzed for a moment (5.35), leaving him completely helpless against a counter (e.g. flying kick). And that just pisses me off, as others chars don't seem to have this problem.

He was alot harder on the first version of MK2, but not impossible. Alot of people used to beat him by getting him into the corner and pressing lp constantly...Kintaro couldn't get out of it. That trick still works on the SNES version of MK2.
