I had this song in my head as a little 12 year old girl in the nineties, heard it once and never found out who it was til a few years ago. Im 28 now and this song is still as cool as it was back then!!! Timeless man!!
This tape was in my walkman daily in early 1994. I guarantee nobody at the Chicago Board of Trade listened to Unrest then or now. 4AD was such a cool label back then. Best springtime I had as a adolescent.
I love the Santiago Durango reference. 1)The way he says "Santiago" (like it's said in Spanish) is awesome. 2) Big Black is about 1000000 miles from this song (though some Unrest does sound closer)
Seriously? Do I really need to say the comment "what the hell happened to music????" on every music video made before 1999? Music exists beyond rock n roll.
