  • Sarah Fisher had so much talent. I remember her early years in the IRL, she ran so well. Wish it had worked out for her.

    It worked out fairly well even though she didn't get a win. First woman to win a pole in Indy cars. Track record at Kentucky. First female podium finish. Fastest lap ever at Indianapolis by a woman. First woman team owner/driver at Indy. There were and are other women in open wheel racing but Sarah has done the most to lead the way for them to be taken seriously.
