@noobdief I don't think so. I think at last he had everything he had ever dreamed of. Maybe he was sad to be alone in the end, but he didn't regret it. He just hoped that his family will ever see what he's seen. I think he had more than many others have in their whole life. Why can't we all live that way? He lived the life he wanted to live and that's all that counts.

And YES, you're right, he found out "HAPPINESS JUST REAL WHEN SHARED", but do you think everything he's lived through and all the experiences he got don't count? It's just my opinion, but I don't think he threw away everything, so that his human life was useless. In the end he even got the wisdom to cherish the company he always had.
