  • My friend and I have been wanting to trainhop for a while now and i think we just found the perfect place, especially with those trains leaving at 5 miles per hour and some even stopping, anyone know where this line goes?

  • At 0:15 the other axle thing came stuck too.

  • IVE lived near the ic now cn mainline to new orleans for 15 years now......if traffic is down its becouse of free trade and the awful economy it braught not anything else......as it stands traffic is consistant.......a train about ever hour......including a great intermodel train in the evenings that runs just as it did in the ic days.....

  • Wait a minute, isn't the Illinois Central line CN's link south. As I recal they only bought out northern US lines except the IC. And why would the acquisition of a belt railroad like the EJ&E further decrease traffic?

  • I know have a scanner and I was wondering what frequencies you use for the trains. Thanks.

  • Every time my family goes to visit my aunt and uncle we to the Aurelio's in Homewood for dinner on Saturday nights and while we are waiting to be seated my 3 year old son and I go railfanning right there and just wait for the trains.

  • One wheel is not turning because the handbrake wasn't released.

  • dood Cn is always at homewood il. i go there alot

  • Just so you know. Markham yard will be CN's new inlarged intermodal n facility. It's not going anywhere.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting. Its ashame to see a line lose so much importance because of a purchase of another line. Agggh

  • thats one way to get a hot box

  • in England we had shutters with slaves ,, master and slave

  • The slug ·211 has engine or receive energy from the main engine or second engine?

  • I hope C.N. sells the line. I would make it so much better if I had the chance to buy it out.

  • @skinnyshit8888 I Hope UP buys the line.

  • gj, got some nice shots

  • Great Video man

  • good video

  • good video.i like the train with the slug and GT GP38-2.

  • Im in Hazel Crest which is like 20 seconds away from homewood. You know in East Hazel crest there is a huge yard.

  • Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.

  • Great video. Don't try taking pictures of trains in Morton Grove, Homeland Security and the Morton Grove PD would have you arrested as a terrorist suspect!!

  • great slug footage at 8:51 to 8:40

we got slugs all over the place here in Edmonton

  • Hey Frank, You know how at 0:32 you got the shot of the wheels not moving. Say that train went over a hotbox. Would the hotbox read out a defect or not?

  • Actually looks like the brakes were sticking. A hotbox would be coming from the journal, which would be overheating and putting out smoke.

  • Road foreman forgot to release the brakes. That car was being dragged back and forth all morning. You'll be hearing that one thumping down the tracks real soon ;)

  • least CNN has hot female reporters and fox news oh god I hope CSX dont take over that line would suck more
