EVERY item aside from the Master Sword, even the Biggoron Sword, requires 10 hits on Ganon's tail for the first cycle to end. The Master Sword only needs 3 (1 normal slash, 2 jumpslashes).
@ocarinatyphoon I think the official theory is that the Triforce of Courage (the Triforce on Link's hand) simply gives him the courage to face up to (man up against) any challenge. Ganondorf's (Trifoce of Power) is supposed to give him the power to do anything, even transform into giant hulking pig-monsters. Zelda's (the Triforce of Wisdom) is supposed to make her know what to do, which is apparently let Link do all the work. <_<;;;
I noticed how he was doing Master Quest becuase when Ganon hits the sword out of Links hand it usually lands to Zeldas right not the left also Links sword was in his Left hand.
The Giant's Knife/Biggoron Sword needs 10 hits to finish off Ganon's first phase, the Master Sword only needs 3 jumpslashes.
I'm not sure you understand what legit game glitching is, there's no tampering with the physical console/game cart. Legit glitches are found by thinking outside of the box and exploiting developer's weak spots in their programming. Every game has massive glitches whether you like it or not, you just need to be creative in searching for them.
@SirGrimGamer I believe it. Developers purposely leave glitches in the game because believe it or not it makes the game more exciting and gives the players something to look for after beating the game. Take Pokemon Red/Blue for example. The missingnote glitch became the most popular glitch in gaming history and even people bought the game just to experience the bizarre event for themselves. (except missingnote was an unplanned glitch :p) Even in my video games I leave glitches in for thrills
@MajinWamu honestly i doubt developers purpsoely leave glitches in game, thats why they are called glitches, aka errors in programming, if they DO leave em in purposely, its not because it makes the game "more exciting" its usually because they feel its so minimal, and/or no one is gonna find it, that they don't care, they don't wanna take the time to do more coding just to correct the tiny glitch.
egh, I want to watch this video but also don't want to spoil seeing what Ganon looks like in this remastering....I'll have to check this out once I've finished the game :)
Yeah definitely play the game legit your first time (100% if you can), there's a lot of nice atmospherically changes. The game is def worth a full playthrough in 3D.
@aleckermit Yep, it was definitely awesome! Now time to do some experimenting with your "use non-usable items" glitch, especially with Farore's Wind. I've already found that you can warp into the nighttime Treasure Chest Game, and essentially get infinite rupees....although they're pretty pointless :P
i have the biggoron word so lol but still, cool glitch!

@Gaara89 Yes Miyamoto and the crew did purposely leave some glitches on OoT3D because they thought it would be nostalgic.
