Thanks for compliment on Sean's very first solo. He does have two others on here if you want to check them out.

And you are 100% correct, not only should he try to get more solos recorded,... he actually has about six progressively more advanced solos ready and waiting to record.

But with working with his band, and his work from High School, and his work load studying here at the music school,the problem is him finding any time at all to get in the studio to record.

I've been playing for 10 years, but i've wasted so much time one NOT improving my lead, so i cant even play what you can Sean, nice work.

Im buying the lead books from Stetina and hopefully i will learn a lesson or two.

Obviously we can't praise Troy Stetina's books anymore than we do,... it is the main teaching text for our heavy rock guitar students here at the music school.

You should also check out Doug Marks DVD course, both links are on our regular website HUNTSMUSIC it is GREAT to use along with the Stetina books,... especially if you are not working under the supervision of an music teacher with a specailty is this style of guitar,... but find one if you can.

Thanks! That was the very first solo I had to do right after I had just graduated the rhythm guitar program and was just into the lead program about two months when we recorded this in the studio. I like this solo, but I have done a few others on here since then which I am more proud of, but only because I have grown alot as a musician since this one.
