And it would be one thing if there was just a single random allegation. But there are now at least five accusers and a separate corroborating witness. It's now a pattern.

I doubt Bush would describe himself as a conservative. Especially now. He didn't stand up for conservatism but tried to curry favor with Democrats, sacrificing conservative principles to do so. In hindsight, I'm sure Bush now understands that he did wrong... and that Democrats NEVER try to work with the opposing party, unless by not doing so, they will certainly lose a reelection bid. Wash D.C. is different than state level politics in this regard. Bush learned the hard way.
