  • moser looks better in die frau ohne schatten.beard looks good on you T.M.!

  • The conductor doesn't look very sympathic.

  • I love St. Johns Passion, even more than Matthew's. I wish you uploaded "Herr Unser Herscher"

  • beautiful!

  • großartig!!

  • Brilliant!

  • unsingable! I hope not, I'm singing it on Saturday. :)

  • :))

  • I didn't like these kind of voices before, especially with baroque, but as I've grown older and worked on my own technique I've started to appreciate also bigger voices with more "body" in the sound. Moser's technique is obviously very good, and his singing is beautiful and musical.

  • unsingable aria~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • This singer is top quality!

  • it's a lute in the middle, a tenor and a trenle viol, commonly they use viola da gamba

  • a treble viol, sorry! they're made by luthiers (french)- constructors of instruments based either on reproductions, paintings, or manuscripts.

  • nice use of the viola d'amore. it's great when these old instruments show up every once in a while in anything

  • no, they are two viola d'amore!

the aria is very nice... but i dislike the singer

  • these are barock violins. that's so nice aria

they're tow viola d'amore... what a terrible pronunciation!

  • there german is fine;)

  • Unlike your english!

It is their german not "there german"

  • I would imagine it's a reproduction of a period instrument

  • What sort of weird violin (viola?) are the guys in the beginning of the video (0:23) playng?

  • these are historical instruments like they were used at the time J.S. Bach composed and performed the passions.
