  • imagine a big night of curry inside there!! gasp

  • Where do u guys wash ur hands lol

  • Throw a party in that house.

  • the tv is bigger the the house

  • those stair wont work if your drunk

  • Y CLARO, LA PERSONA QUE LAS VENDE SEGURO VIVE EN UNA AMPLIA MANSION CON TODAS LAS COMODIDADES SOBRE UN TERRENO DE VARIAS HECTAREAS ...JAAA! QUIEN ES EL PRIMER TONTO EN COMPRARLE UNA? XD

  • I'm pretty sure my uncle Buck has this model on the back of his F-150.

  • What I have never seen or heard is how these small homes are actually less efficient on a per square foot compared to something slightly larger. The ratio of interior volume to outside envelope is not as efficient as a larger space. This unit has a volume of approximately 1000 cubic feet to an outer envelope area of 500 square feet(floor was not counted as it is presumably sitting on a foundation or slab) that's a 2 to 1 ratio making it more susceptible to heat loss than a unit with dimensions

  • small houses need to use an open floor plan. maybe a separate room to shit in

  • We need these in New York.

  • i could not sleep in the same room as my kitchen. thats weird

  • with no disrespect but its not a very good design

  • Looks like another idealistic architect's pet project in search for "sustainable living". The only problem is projects like this only get us half way there. They get the sustainability part without much effort, but completely forget about the fact that is has to be livable. This is not a reasonable solution to sustainable living now, nor will it ever be. For a truly sustainable future, we need to develop projects that make sense from a planning perspective for the masses in varying densities.

  • 20 x 20 x 20 please....

  • No thanks, I'd rather wait for the 4x4x4 meter house! Think of all that extra space!!

  • @opivs The reason for the measurement are the building regulations. Any building under 10m2 does not need a building permit... 3x3 is 9m2 + insulation gives you 10m2...

  • Like living on a boat

  • how much does it cost?

  • A pikeys dream home.

  • nice camera..

  • Im sorry but it looks like crap. Im all about small living but the thing is so boring looking and the walls look cardboard. I build cabins and the prices of these thing are hallarious. Someone could build a small livable thing like this or the houses on wheels for 12,000 easily. People like this and the cabins on wheels (which I think look A LOT better) sell for around 40 to 50 thousand. Why not build a house if your going to pay that much.

  • 0:36 and we are immedietly in the lounge area, the bedroom, the kitchen, wait we are immedietly in every area!

  • i love it it is the best for a home

  • If i can build a 2 car garage and 20sqft deck it will be perfect!

  • does he have like, cancer, man?

  • These people must have lived most of there lives in prison! lol!

  • Chairs are too low for the table in order to have dinner

  • I love the layout, but those stairs give me the shivers.

  • Seems pretty well designed except for the giant floor-to-ceiling window right next to the toilet and shower entrance (2:28).

  • one whole window?

  • Can I get one in the united states please, perfect!

  • VERY Unique, well thought out - definitely a home of the future - shame that hindsight is not gifted to all - with the economic crunch combined with our changing planet, having a roof over your head is better than nothing... love it~

  • So when you die do they just bury you in this thing 10 feet under?

  • I'd rather live in a f*cking tent.

  • @SK8TeFliP1 I would live in it.

  • Great use of space, nicely finished! This would be excellent for a guest house. Are there plans available?

  • @MrMadscotsman Ya until somone kills themselves climbing down those goofy assed stairs.

  • Three things:

    1) Would the design differ by location? I mean, would anything be different for windy, snowy, desert or flood-plain areas?

    2) Why separate shower and toilet? On an overnight train I rode two years ago the two were in one (albeit cramped) space.

    3) Wouldn't hammocks work better than fixed beds? You could suspend them over the floor or each other and then fold them into a bag, as the Apollo astronauts did on the Lunar Module.

  • so would a 2 person home be 20x20x20? or what? thatd be cool to see a little bit bigger

  • @jruch314 Actually to have twice the space you would need the dimensions of 12.6 x 12.6 x 12.6 feet.

  • it sure would be a pain in the ass to try to workout in there....just saying

  • @jruch314 You could go outside? :D

  • If they had another "seat" on the two seater sofa (there is room under the sliding table), it could function as a second bed. Then the house would, with a little compromise and understanding, lol, function perfectly as a two person abode.

  • Houses like this would kill the economy as there is no space to store all the junk that humans collect. This would eliminate most commerce.

  • @nocturnechanson,

    That's what garages are for.

  • @WhiteCamry92 I doubt there will be a garage in the rose tinted world of those that designed this house we probably will all diligently get in line like cattle to ride the bus or train.

  • Comment removed

  • @nocturnechanson Or you replace things with new things, and sell or donate the old things.

  • I could totally live in one of those!

  • thats way bigger than 3 by 3 :\

  • @BlackDollarBills metres, not feet. And it's 3-dimensional...you know...so 3x3...x3.

  • @BlackDollarBills 3x3 meters not feet

  • i can tell you right now, that house is bigger than 10ft by 10 ft.

  • How much does it cost?

  • my toilet is bigger then this, 1 thing is simple living but this is just dump u can just shoot yourself if u have to leave in a doghouse like that

  • This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Carbon emitted by humans has such an INSIGNIFICANT greenhouse effect it's not even funny. Retarded fools.

  • I'll buy one when Al Gore, and The Queen, and all the corporation heads, are forced to live in these boxes! my storage building is bigger than this! Carbon taxes are only another government money bomb to hit the taxpayers with! I live in the u.s. I will not live in peasants quarters, while the rich live in mansions. If you believe that us the little people are the cause of the ozones breakdown, you are mistaken,& a fool for believing it!

  • I didn't work my whole life to live in a box.

  • it's the home of forever alone guy.

you can't have sex in this house.

  • I kind of want one. Be an impressive party flat for sure.

  • Interesting concept. Definitely an idea worth looking into for singles who are trying to save money.

PS: This is one of the worst videography jobs I've seen.

  • @001FJ Saving Money. I can't afford double Glaze. How am I going to afford triple. - Or an Induction Cooker
