  • Wow...sounds great...but spending over $6000 on your set up should...

  • Beautiful cleans too.. no wonder it sounds good.

  • it's a shame, this really is a great pedal, this guy is so not helping with this lame demo

  • "Lets turn it on..........PWACKUUUU"

Great noise you made there man.

  • Great demo! I think I'm going to buy one once I get some extra money.

  • From the description I thought this is actually a demo by paul himself. :(

  • how does the Tone knob in the back work?

  • Zappa, you play through your fingers, guitar, amp, etc.

Correcting the use of a preposition is lame.

  • @adcantor im playing with a pick, through a prs modern eagle into a dr.z stingray 212 with blues

  • i dont know if i like this pedal

  • Great pedal

  • @jonno63: guitar x .com

  • Playing through a Paul Reed Smith? Dont you mean ON a Paul Reed Smith?

  • mmmmmmm.... one will be arriving on my doorstep in the next 24 hours.... never thought this day would happen

  • I don't want one. I need one.

  • how much is thsi pedal??/

  • @jonno63 169 if you wanna wait and order direct from paul cochrane or you can buy on ebay or the gear page for around 250

  • very nice thick lush tone for an overdrive pedal

  • haha it's TIM you said kim hahaha

  • does anyone else think this pedal almost sounds fuzz-like in this demo? I like that.

  • would the Timmy do? can you can as smooth sound with Timmy than in this video?

  • @smartti1970

hi! just bought a timmy. those little guys are the best when used as a clean boost ! trust me.

  • Nice demo, very helpful, thanks.

  • good job ! This is a Fantastic pedal .

  • hell of a pedal--ain't it. it is the best i've played. just bought my second--he's not gonna make these forever. i like the tim better than the timmy. the timmy is similiar to the mi audio blues pro in sound. very flexible for your applications. you don't get tired of hearing it. boost your amps drive, or play it thru a clean amp. it will dumble-up your clean channel. those selling on ebay don't know how to use it. it is not a metal distortion. may warm up a metal tone--never know.

  • it will dumble-up?

Why do you say that? It doesn't change the characteristics of your amp, it won't take your Fender, or Vox clean sound and make it in any way Dumble-y.

  • i use a divided by 13 ftr 37. on the fender channel, the tim just is so sweet. it is a transparent drive. i use it as a stand alone drive. it breaks up real nice. my cab is a 2x12 jbl open back. i get very rich textures. i use les pauls or prs guitars. the pauls have smits pickups in them. check out his site. the prs's are stock. the 13 is a very true sound. i turn up & find the sweet spot. everyone uses their hands differently. play with the tone, drive, treble & gain.

  • remember--there are many versions of the dumble ods. they are fenders on steroids. watch how you use the bass on your amp & the tim. look for that "cut" with your tone. my newer tim actually sounds truer than my first. they are 2 years apart. i love this pedal. i tried the tim on a fuchs ods clean channel--had to change the settings--didn't care for it. but a lovepedal black kanji 9 on both amps sounded very good--same settings. it's subjective. if you boost, then that's not dumble-y

  • actually, i shouldn't say the boost won't-my mistake. i was thinking of another pedal with boost. anyway, the boost gives that extra push the amp needs to get near dumbleland. the tim does it the best. it does not color--true--but with a big fender sound--very close. the hao rumble mod is weak compared to the tim. however, just the boost only on the hao thru a fender twin is juicy-more punch-like my divided by 13. on my click channel, the tim is different. if you have a fender, you'll find it

  • check out sheetsofsound tim pedal part three. he's playing thru a fender dual showman--very clean amp. when turned up, the tone flows when using drives. jack is awesome--very toneful. he is in dumble land with the tim or when he uses his ceriatone amps. a fuchs ods will get into dumble tone too. no drives needed--you can find robben ford's amp settings on his dumble on the net. he uses celestion 65's in a 2x12. the fuchs & two rock are just 2 amps out of several that can go to dumble

  • @louisguitarslinger, uh, is that not what an OD pedal does though? Changes the sound a tonal characteristics of an amp? I play through a very clean fender DeVille, when i turn on my Catalinbread DLS it makes my amp sound like a very convincing JTM45. Alternatively, when I turn on a lovepedal kanji, it sounds very much like a Bogner amp.
