  • Rebirth and the Soul Rebels (who are an amazing new orleans brass band!!) are definitely my favorites

  • were playing this for mardi gras im a trumpet... shit high notes lmao

  • @nairblizard the high notes arent the bad. the highest is a G...well thts how my section leader wrote it. and it sounds the same. we gona play it to for some mardi gras thing in DC.

  • @P00HB3AR3LM0MICK3Y we just got it highest not Bb above the staff

  • No one can compare this city to any other in the US i know some hate, but hold your balls cause your pist, just admit it nola its got its own flavor even the ways people walk its like they got a lil pepper in their walk lol.. so no matter how you relate your city to New Orleans its comes back to us a compliment.. love it

  • dat's how we do in da N.O.! i used 2 kick it all da time with REBIRTH when i worked at TIP'S. FVKK!!.....i need 2 "get back 2 where i onced belonged". nah if sumbody would break in2 "OOOOHH, IT AIN'T MY FAULT!"

  • Went to NoLa for a bachelor party in November. My favorite city on earth. Not even close.

  • Very nice!!

  • Love everything about New Orleans...everything! It's my city forever but I don't think Houston is boring at all as some have implied. So much to do there and I always have a great time. Galveston is fun too - good food and music.

  • U stupid n racist dude!

  • @aey20 white people no talent! Check out the fralinger string band 2003-present the philadelphia mummers parade! The oldest parade in the country Since the 1640s, started by white people u NO folks will like dat! Just type in fralinger string band 2006 and u will see a parade performance like u never seen! Over 350 yrs. N we're still goin strong, never got the notariety of mardi gras dont no why, but it da sh!t every New years day in Philly!

  • @damdevildog1173 Philly does it's thing and N.O. does theirs, but N.O. does this YEAR 'ROUND, not just ONE day (New Years). We in N.O. have rhythim in "our" music, not the "jump up and down" type of struttin', lol. I like watching the mummers videos sometimes but you can't dispute the fact that N.O. music and festivals have MORE soul in what we do. BTW, why aren't their any Black participants marching in mummers (other than the brass bands hired)?

  • @meganjerai

last weekend in April, first weekend in May. Jazz Fest every year!!!

  • Music breaks all the boundaries of race and class, and New Orleans is a perfect example of that.

  • who in hell would'nt like this

  • This, THIS is a classic example of why I and millions of others will always love to go to NOLA! If this doesn't make you smile - you're dead!

  • There's no place like New Orleans!

  • ALRIGHT NAHH!!!!!! YALL BETTER DO IT !!!!!!!!

  • 2nd line is where its at !!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG!!! I thought New York was fun...NOT! SORRY N.Y. there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON. You have NOTHIN' on N'AWLINS. Love it there, just left there this weekend & did not want to leave. Now this place (N.O.) should be placed on the list of places to visit before you die. (I've already suggested it to be). All I can say is...I've had the BEST TIME in my 57 years here on earth. I thank GOD for the experience.

  • @diazpearce As a proud resident of NYC, I fully concede to New Orleans as the most fun city PERIOD. =D

  • @diazpearce thank you for your comment! I have been going back and forth with this idiot from Vegas, who nastily states that Vegas is a better place than NO. I had to correct the idiot, because NO's culture is original American culture, while Vegas' culture is a replica of cultures created by others. Vegas is nice, but it will never be on the same level as New Orleans...America's original and everlasting European/African culture.

  • @jocee I grew up in Vegas but would rather be in New Orleans any day. No comparison.

  • @Bilko2000...thank you for your comment brotha!

  • @jocee3 I agree, New Orleans doesn't have to attract visitors with large elaborate buildings, bright lights and gaming (gambling), N.O. has NATURAL and cultural attractions such as mardi gras and other festivals too many to list here. Just keep in mind what Las Vegas is predicated on, GETTING YOUR MONEY, by booking millionaire entertainers on stage shows and gambling, on the other hand, New Orleans has street festival such as you see here FOR FREE. Should i talk about the food and music?

  • @nola305...thanks for the backup family. NOLA forever!!!!!

  • @nola305 NOT FOR FREE!! always tip performers either street or clubs. thats how the get paid. i always tip bands at least 5 dollars. just got back to oregon from visitng new orleans and totally loved the young fellaz brass band. very talented street performing kids!!!

  • @TheWarrior831 I'm FROM New Orleans and the street perfomers solicit TIPS, not CHARGED from spectators, but the entertainment is provided FREE, it's up to the spectators if they want to tip or not (not all are able to do so). I have a personal family friend (Herman Hack) who performs next to Cafe' DuMonde near the French market (see video "New Orleans street performers, when the saints go maching in"). N.O. mardi gras is known as America's largest FREE party or something to that affect.

  • white people look funny when they dance LOL

  • omg i love playing this song in our high school marching band...my band teacher is from new orleans and i just love the way he writs our music....i love louisiana and new orleans theres no other place like them in the hole world.

  • ノリが最高~!めっちゃ好きっす。(ドラム雲)

  • Laissez les bon temps rouler !!!

  • must be fun living in New Orleans

  • Louisiana doesn't really go by racism we are known as a party state.....and i feel that you are really downing my state and the entire african american race....but its fine because we still will second line no matter what

  • @KisaKane10 Good for you. Blacks (or any race for that matter) just wanna have fun. Racism has NO place in ANY society.

  • @reminaya I TOTALLY AGREE with you.

  • I see no race here. I see a party. A REAL party . . . now that's cool!

  • I don't know what second lines...is. But, I just love this video. The happiness shows.

  • I live in Austin, the live music capital of the world.....yeah right. New Orleans has the best music ever. This band is carrying on the tradition of New Orleans to the Tee. Keep it up New Orleans!!!!!!!!!!!

  • best city in the world. best food, best team, best music.

  • fuck!!!!super poprostu super.szkoda ze plyty nie ma gdzie kupić!

  • @aey20 Fuck you, from a New Orleans (MID CITY CRACKER!) We pay their bills bitch!

  • @aey20 Fuck you, from a New Orleans (MID CITY CRACKER!)

  • @crankybitchify Listen Cracker when the nation thinks of New Orleans culture they aren't thinking of Crackers. You don't have skills like the Blacks playing in this video. The best you can hope to do is hang out with Blacks and hope to copy us or as I call it "Elvis style". LMAO!!!! Happy Black History Month :)

    Black Power

  • What you alll fail to realize is that its nothing about or regarding to youre skin color or ethnic background or that youre french mexican black creole or english....its about enjoying it being in the moment and living.....happy new years :-*

  • @kendricme AMEN BRUTHA! Close ur fkg eyes, open your mind, and u would never know what color was around you. You'd only be shakin and breakin to the music!

  • 素晴らしいです。

    こんな感じのバンドを演ってみたいです。

  • What Social Club is this?

  • @speedr74 I don't know but the band is "Rebirth brass band "

  • all the Crackers ruined it!

  • @aey20 Gee, I thought obama fixed all that racism! You sayin' he's a FAILURE? I KNOW YOUR a failure. Now go back and get an apology from your mom for raisin' you wrong as a joke.

  • @reminaya LOL another angry Cracker. I see why your mad whites are rather useless. known for not having any talent in creating new music. Blacks have created Rock and roll, soul, blues , funk, rap, hip hop, and much more here in the states. Don't get me started on the Brothers in Latin America down their we have created the Mambo, the Samba and much more. No matter where you look we are far greater than you will ever be. Well whites did created something it's called "child sex tourism". ENJOY!!!

  • @aey20 Hit a nerve! Bingo. Revealing words by a sad racist failure of a human. Can't play anything? Guitar? Sax? Nothing, just as I figured. Shoulda been practicing an real instrument instead of playing that tiny, pathetic "race violin" your whole life. Wonder how much these musicians would feel about all you racist idiots blasting the people putting money in the bucket that they are depending on....Bet they'd be the first to tell y'all to shut the fuck up and leave us to make a living.

  • @reminaya Only a Cracker could make a statement about how a group a Blacks need to live off having money put in a bucket and not see a problem. LOL stupid, stupid Cracker You are inferior to me in everyway your women want to look like are women as they wear pants to give them more ass or if they can afford it they just get implants, they also go to the doctor to plump up their lips. Now I see so many white boys trying to dress Black and talk black. You are so weak LMAO

    XD

    Black Power

  • @aey20 What a dumbass. Can't you see that your nazi level hatred makes you seriously diminished compared to anyone? You defeat yourself with every word. Here's your new moniker: LACK POWER.

LACK POWER! Damn, I just "cracker-ed" myself up! I just got two laughs off your "superiority complex". Keep them coming, LACK POWER!!! Drop the racism and get your power back. Until then, you'll be an embarrassment to the human race, not just yours.

    Lack Power too funny.

  • play for that money boys, play for that motherfuckin' money!

  • 3 people are english

  • They say "Imitation is the ultimate flattery." The group leading this second line took Mr. Groove's look. thanks fellas.

  • Come on - cut some of us white folks some slack! We love this stuff too!!!

  • @missymiss30 Don't sweat the haters honey, it's good music it's for people. Not for one race. I'm sure aey20 put A LOT of cash in their bucket,,,,,,he's just frustrated cuz they wouldn't let him play cuz he's a black racist idiot.

  • Cone on - cut some of us white folks some slack! We love this stuff too!!!

  • @altractors "The funniest thing about white people? They clap on the 1s and 3s!!" - Treme

  • Love this stuff, everybody just plays what they like for the fun of it. Freedom!

Some of the whiteys do look a bit rythym challenged.

  • Love this song! New Orleans forever!

  • Très sympa! BRAVO

  • a parade for no reason

  • @RMSbandof10 This is the New Orleans way. The only place where u can pick up a bottle of liquor at the local drug store and chug it down on your way to go enjoy a random brass band on Frenchman street. God I miss that place.

  • i was jamming to this when da saints won thew super bowl

  • fuck it. i'm moving to new orleans.

  • @simo206 I lived there for three years. This is an everyday thing. You'll dig it.

  • @marcphilos we don't second line every day. During Mardi Gras, Jazzfest and celebrations yes, but nobody is doing a second line on their way to work...

  • @Kaleidi18 LOL, you're right. I should have rephrased that. More accurately, the festive atmosphere there is quite pervasive, and street corner brass bands are not at all uncommon, no matter the time of year ('cept maybe winter!)

  • amen brother, cant wait till im 18, get outta this place, and jam!

  • i wish my community was like this.......niggas in my neighborhood scared to come outside

  • The REAL funk!
