  • He hit the nail on the head regarding College Degrees. I spent nearly 6 years going to night school to earn a Social Psychology degree. After graduating, I tried and tried and tried to find a job in the field, to no avail. That was 20 years ago. Each time I applied I was told that the Bachelor's Degree was essentially useless and that a Masters Degree was required. Would have been nice if they had told me this before I started my studies. College is a total joke.

  • I wonder, perhaps we could stop looking down on people with service jobs. Many waiters and bartenders take home good money, they have nice homes and comfortable lifestyles. Believe it or not.

  • fuck college. i'm gunna practice surgery without that fucking college store

  • College is a joke. There should be more options out there, such as on-the-job-training, more vocational schools that sort of thing.... at one high school diplomas actually meant something. Now they don't because you "need" a Bachelor's degree to get ahead.. And even that's not enough now.

  • @Bloodsport1 wow I hear u and I agree!!!

  • @R3rules you are so right...

  • gerard celente for PREZ!

  • yers who won't hire you unless you already have a job. What happened to America? The America where we made at least %96 of our own shit. I bought an American flag the other day and even that said "made in china". On top of that, the country is in trillions of dollars in debt and there's no end in sight. Really, I with the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if ppl started to lose hope for the country.

  • Unless you have 15 to 20 MBA's and certifications, you don't seem to stand a chance. For employers not to give you a chance soley based on a lack of experience but at the same time won't employ you so you can gain experience, then you're back to square 1. Then what? It starts to become appearant that all that ass busting in college and taking of most courses you will never utilize in the real world is a waste of time and money; just to be at square 1 when you graduate. Then there's those emlplo-

  • I agree %100. College is a scam. If I had kids I would tell them to skip college and go to a trade school; learn a trade instead. There is no fucking reason for a post grad to be working in Mcdonalds. America wants you to have a college degree just to go on a job interview for them to turn you down because you have no experience. Well you can't get experience unless someone gives you a chance. Having a college degree today is put on the same level as a G.E.D.

  • @R3rules I agree. American business employers are narrow-minded and short sighted.Also, employers can feel threatened by a job candidate who has more education than they do. I was turned down for jobs by human resources people who were jealous of my basic bachelor's degree. Instead, they hired uneducated people who used bad grammar and took constant cigarette breaks at work.

  • Yep but they still expect you to pay for these M.A.'s and PhD's like they are gold.

  • Thank You Sam Walton for helping this country be better w w w . peopleatwalmart . c o m

  • I dont give a fuck what you believe. He has the worlds best track record. PERIOD. And in print. Think what you want, This is why you are broke. Why dont you get with the program kid. Look up his track record. HE advises hedge funds you idiot and he worked on Wall Street. I dont care whose advise you take. I made a fortune from this guy. I noticed you didnt respond to the $100,000 reward in the previous comment.

  • Just try to get an engineering, medical, or law job without a degree.

  • @drgilbertourroz Thats what he was saying, college as a whole is worthless. Unless you go it for a real degree, such that you gave as an example.

  • More about what I said about Clinton. Like I said, Manufacturing jobs were being exported out of America before Clinton, but Clinton pulled the last straw. He took the last little bit of jobs that were around for people that did not have a college degree to be successful at and blew them up into China. The point is that we need to stop feeling sorry for other countries and get back up on our feet before we are knocked down anymore.

  • Thanks to Clinton, we are in the problems that we are in now. I know that manufacturing was going to foreign countries before Clinton's era but back when my dad who is 45 was little BACK IN THE 70's you had guys working at the same place their fathers did when they got out of high school. There wasn't that many people going to college, because back then you bring up college to your folks, they would laugh right in your face, now, we are getting fed this shit of 'Everyone needs to go to college!"

  • Innovation is gone. When have you seen a unique alternative to the snickers bar? The legality of creating something new... from industry to jobs is miraculous. Legal codes and Education need to be re-done.

    Skills are good. Learn anything juggling to gardening. They might be silly little things but just get skills under your belt and versatility gets you open doors.

    Of course a firm education (as broad as you can get) is a must. Be yourself and have fun doing it... what's not to love?

  • Occupy Wall Street? What about the $3.5 Billion loan sharks called

    SLM Corporation???

    OCCUPY SALLIE MAE!

    300 Continental Drive

    Newark, Delaware

    End the organized crime loan sharks who pay off the US government and bleed taxpayers and students.

    Students AND taxpayers have been SCAMMED into taking loans for worthless credentials

  • lol, Gerald Celente was talking to a presstitute.

  • I think armed guards will be in demand.

  • @adnetjm Then your a socialist, depending on the gov...... you are beta male. You need to be Alpha and demend on ONESELF. That is the true freedom you have in this world - to be a capitalist!

  • @yoyuepz Nope, I said that after watching some videos. I am actually a 58 yr. old woman. I say, get creative and start your own bus.We always had a contracting bus.then we bought a house and ten yrs later sold it, now we are in the food/tavern/bar bus.and rent low. The problem is the Banks would not give us a loan. They would rather see a ghost town then give a loan since mostly everyone is in default. You will see much more homeless this year then ever.

  • @adnetjm age doesnt matter, what matters is money and lots of it. if i were you i would seriously invest into silver and get the money out of those american 419k's pension plan and as the USD goes down the value of silver goes UP. as long as the US prints money and they will the more gold and silver will rocket. forget the banks, if you cant manage debt they wont give you money. if you can manage debt they give you lots of money, its understanding how the shit works. setup a biz not gov.

  • Best bets are accounting and all medical positions,nurse, doctors, physical therapist, etc. Engineering is good, but I know of several engineers who have had their duties outsourced. Terrible. Getting a teaching certificate is good but if you can tolerate the public school systems.

    Also, don't forget skilled tech and trades, many of which can be accquired at a local community college.

    I know of more and more liberal arts people with PhDs that are serving coffee.

  • @DeepOperator What is wrong with you people? First off lets start, Computer Programming/Science/Chemical/Law/Accountancy/Engineering/Applied Math...... THESE are the jobs what the economy requires. If you do "psychology" or "drama" or "art" or "english lit" or "socialogy" these are joker subjects. There is no skill in these for the real world, but many people want to choose "easy BS subjects" and THATS the problem!

  • @yoyuepz well said.

  • The vocational school idea is good, but it only stratifies the level of education one receives outside of high school. This is ANOTHER scam that they don't tell you..that a liberal education is useless because it does not pay. That is absolute BS. The problem here is a moneymaking, money obesseed culture that is only going to get more ignorant. Is reading Homer a waste of time because it dont pay? Get smart people..get educated and stop believing you can only learn what makes you money. BS!!!!!

  • this man is getting rich off of tell people that the country is going under

  • @cherese17 He was rich before. He used to work in Albany for the state government in the 70's, then found out he could make more money trading gold and oil. He made enough money to start the Trends Institute. And, it would be prudent to note that people listen to Celente because he's been very accurate before.

  • does anyone know where gerald celente went to college?

  • today college degrees will get you the same job as a high school dropout, G.E.D, or someone who just came into the usa from a 3rd world country.

  • The only careers worth going to college for is Doctor, Nurse, Engineer, Accountant, and technology.

  • My friend is teaching English in Japan without a degree. He's got an apartment and steady income. And plays Xbox.

  • hell im pissed off going to TSTC.edu for a 2 year degree and making part after part woopie fucking do. i know this guys friend who makes 90k at samsung here in austin,tx and hes got a 4 year degree in electrical engineering. looks at the times, service industry. computer science, biomedical engineering and computer engineering is the strongest now.

  • Bullshit degrees : Mass communications, anthropology, American studies, english Literature, etc. You better get yourself laid and/or high freshman year to give yourself the illusion of getting your money's worth.

  • Any thing can be written about anyone and be "published" as a reputable" source if you use the Internet. If you are silly enough to believe what is published (good-bad-indifferent) on the Internet without sourcing at least dozens of countervailing articles, then you truly deserve whatever you get.

    And I read from these posts that most of you are intellectually lazy, silly, asinine, ignorant, and just plain stupid.

    Critical thinking skills are seemingly a thing of the past.

  • For me, nursing job is not necessary to have a college degree. You can teach a high school student grad.This kind of job is easy to learn, but only hard work when you have many patients! hey, I'm not a registered nurse, but I was trained by a private Dr. why do we need to pay more money in sch for this? In schol it's all theories, why not teach in high school?

  • @lzyification I think you would need at least an Associates Degree in Nursing, I do agree that you don't need to go to a 4 year college to be a Registered Nurse but some people think it gives them an advantage if they do. If you go work in a small hospital, you can expect at least $20.00 an hour. That is not bad for living in a small city or town. Both nurses have to have the same state license to practice Nursing.

  • @lzyification How about anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biology, pharmacology? Those do not sound like learn on-the-job skills to me. I knew several nursing majors at my alma mater, and the program was VERY rigorous. Many couldn't cut it and switched.

  • Comment removed

  • lmao, you see that college students? How does it feel like to know you and your degrees are fucking worthless?

  • We don't make anything...hence we are broke

  • put the words [ THE 44TH PUSS STAIN ]] IN to any seach engine

    ``` for the truth about SCUM BAMMASS
  • CREATE JOBS COLLEGE GRADUATES!!!!
  • I love this guy! A lot of people don't need education. Very skilled jobs DO require education though, he's right!
  • No, some majors are worthless....or hard to find a job with.
    But obviously some jobs like doctor, chemist, teacher need college.
  • so is my going to colleg for music education at the moment a waste of time??? I am also thinking about picking up audio engineering
  • That worthless degree hanging on the wall is just expensive wallpaper.
    Plan accordingly!
  • this is why i want to get a degree in a field i can practice in another country besides america.. i'm afraid nobody will appreciate my brain when i'm out of college and in debt...
  • You tell em'!
  • College is a big waste time and money.
    I started a lawn mowing business at the age of 16, and now i make around 80,000 dollars a year with no degree.
    My friend dropped out of high school at the age of 16. He recently started a junk removal business and now he makes over 100,000 dollars a year.
  • Celente is a fraud and has no basis for what he says other than what he reads from credible experts. Anyone who listens to this idiot is a sheep.
  • @exposingcrooks You don't know what you are talking about, I've followed Gerald for some time now. He is telling the truth.
  • @MadeByEduNotLaziness There is a difference between stating the onvious and adding value by delivering insight. CELENTE IS A JOKE. I am certain that you are either a teen or have a submarginal IQ since you are too stupid to realize this.
  • @exposingcrooks Read my handle and figure it out for yourself and you will see who is the uneducated fool. I haven't had to have a boss for about 10 yrs. because I'm MadeByEdu, not your laziness.
  • @exposingcrooks lol you are a dumb ass, celente has been saying the truth for many many years!
  • @cetnik03 Show me his research. He has none. All he does and gets on TV and talk about things that are already happening or things he reads about. Google "Gerald Celente, Futurist Fraud" and you will see that he admits that all he does is reads the newspaper. How old are you, 12? You sure aren't too bright.
  • @exposingcrooks exactly, and his comments make those losers who don't have a degree jump on the bandwagon for something to be happy about.
  • @c2conditioning That's very observant and I agree. Celente is a complete joke. He never tells you anything that isn't aready happening. Instead of having credible experts, the media airs idiots like him and many people dont demand an end to these losers because they are stupid.
  • @exposingcrooks well it's just common sense. I can agree education isn't what it use to be. But that's because everyone is getting an education for all the wrong reasons. If you go to school, without a game plan, and having huge expectations, you are just setting yourself up for disapointment. You have to have a game plan, reasonable outcomes, But all those people going to school expecting the degree to get the job for you? come on, get work experience, volunteer work etc. Stand out.
  • @c2conditioning of course.....the problem is that the people who subscribe to Celente the con artist, Alex Jones and the other con men DON'T HAVE COMMON SENSE. You are dealing with mental midgets here.
  • @exposingcrooks Here is my problem with your argument. He is aware of what is going on. That is a lot to say considering most of the country doesn't focus on all the bad like that. They live in their own little "dream world" where everything on the outside is above their heads and they want no part of it. Celente is making people aware because he does read the newspaper. You don't need research when it is sitting in front of you. He may be a little extreme but at least he isnt avoiding the truth
  • @MadeByEduNotLaziness Hey idiot. There is a world of difference between STATING THE OBVIOUS AFTER IT IS APPARENT AND COMING OFF AS AN EXPERT. Everything ramblied off by Celente could be rambled off by a 16 year old. He is not a research analyst, does no research and provides no real insight. This is a fact. he is just a talking head who creates drama for the media so youwill tune in and the media will make money from commericals.  He is a fraud.
  • @exposingcrooks Too bad you're a sheep and don't know it. Name less than 1% say what Celente says. A 16 year old wants $10 to mow a lawn and buys McDonalds not invest it. Seeing that you came on to youtube a month ago makes me believe you're a government interloper with your naive comments. He's rarely on the major news stations compared to other regulars. I see no proof given by you or anyone what he's a fraud. I believe you're a fraud.
  • @MadeByEduNotLaziness Is that so?? Why dont you go to this site and see who is the real expert, then you will realize what an idiot and sheep you are (already laughing at you) AVARESEARCH (dot) com
    And dont forget to read the articles exposing celente
  • @exposingcrooks What a cheap website! Did he do it all himself? Oh wait, he doesn't only predict the future, his articles are posted from the future!
    Warning about Disinfo Websites and Trash Events Wednesday, September 28, 2011, by Stathis
    Both you and this guy are losers. This is the worst website for financial information I've ever seen! By the way, Gold has past $1700, $1800 and temporarily $1900 since your post. Your guy lies on his post dates and spreads terrible advice on ETFs
  • @MadeByEduNotLaziness Why dont you submit your chance to win the $100,000 reward he is offering to anyone who can show he doesnt have the worlds best track record? You are a complete idiot. Stathis predicted everything in DETAIL in ADVANCE in PRINT. He is a Wall Street pro not some guy with a crystal ball. You are an idiot.
  • @exposingcrooks Why doesn't he use just $1,000 on making his website accurate and modern? I don't believe he's a pro. You call me an idiot because I stated facts. You have no facts and your ego is bruised. That's a dangerous combo that leads to broke when investing. Let go of your ego and read a few other websites for more accurate information. I won't take his advice because his site looks like a scam site to me and his article dates were dated in the future literally when I visited the site.
  • @MadeByEduNotLaziness $100,000 if you can prove anyone can just match the track record of Mike Stathis of AVA Investment Analytics. Go to the site and see for yourself. End of story kid.
  • @exposingcrooks Why doesn't he use just $1,000 on making his website accurate and modern? I don't believe he's a pro. You call me an idiot because I stated facts.   • @MadeByEduNotLaziness "I look at websites to see which one i like to see who I trust. I dont look at their track record because Im that stupid. I dont realize that con artists spend all of their time making marketing websites to lure sheep like me because they have no real track records. This is why im a broke loser" - signed MadeByEduNot Laziness
  • @exposingcrooks You have an interesting way of showing what you believe is credibility. Too bad your have to resort to fraud.
  • @AtheosRecords
    Oh well, it is what it is. Most high schools aren't teaching complicated math. Basic math, yes, but the math courses I needed were more advanced. I ended up doing more advanced technology courses as well. My school even has a Geospatial Information Technology center that works hand in hand with the National Weather Service doing different projects and programs. Students have found work through that as well. They're not teaching that in high school I bet.
  • @AtheosRecords
    That's nice. That's what my degree program (Social Sciences) did for me as well, it incorporated all those disciplines at the same time I couldn't even earn my degree without passing math and science courses. They were required. I learned a lot during my time at school, so I don't regret it. All in all, a degree is what you make of it. I don't regret going to school and even though the economy is quite rocky for grads right now, it'll be alright.
  • @AtheosRecords
    That's up to the individual what career they want. I can't judge someone by saying just cause they don't make a billion dollars as a corporate CEO that they're not successful. If I want to be a teacher (which I'm going to pursue now, going back to get the licensure) then that's my choice. I can be successful in that, even if I never see a million dollars I can always work my way up, having my degree in hand now, who knows what doors can open in education? To each his own......
  • ....may not be "glamorous" millionaire level jobs, but hey, it's up to you what you want to do and be in life. Money isn't everything.......if you're doing something you like or have a real interest in, money shouldn't be the only determining factor.
  • Most schools have career centers and can help you map out a career plan. I know my school has a specific page online.."What can I do with my major?" There are a WIDE variety of career options, for Sociology majors like me. The problem though is the dried up job market. It's hard to get a foot in anywhere now, even for ppl with YEARS of experience. I know ppl who I graduated with in my area of study who do have jobs though - teachers, law enforcement, corrections, mental health, social work - it
  • @AtheosRecords
    ......the high price is such a big deal. No one ever mentions that. It's help out there for folks. Any little bit helps. If times were booming, I bet you wouldn't even hear reports like this. Thomas Jefferson said one time that he feared the American people would be more concerned about making money, than taking care of themselves. Everybody seems so uptight about money since the recession hit.........so I'm not surprised ppl are bitching about this too.
  • @AtheosRecords
    To each his own and good luck with that. But more often than not, most jobs today require some kind of bachelor's degree, so it wouldn't hurt to have that credential. The only reason people are so up in arms about it is the rising cost of school. And that's happening because of budget cuts to higher ed, not the university's fault. They gotta make ends meet somehow too. I know at my college, ppl actually got laid off, so schools are suffering too. Try getting scholarships then if
  • music school......may not be much to other folks, but that's what she wants to do. Tere are options out there for anybody with a degree. Become a teacher. Join the Peace Corps to gain "experience." I know ppl who majored in "liberal arts" and are doing alright.....working in law enforcement, education, even the Defense Department. All in all, hard work is needed most of all. If you want success you'll work for it..........
  • You didn't hear this kind of talk when the economy was doing well......why all of a sudden when things get tough, people want to assume that a degree is worthless? You may not have a job simply because......companies are SLOW on hiring anybody right now. Times are hard. College is what you make of it. If you're doing something you love then you're just as successful as anyone else. Money shouldn't be the only determining factor. I know a young lady who got a music degree is starting up her own
  • Celente sounds like Grandpa from the Munsters.
  • @Legacyleg3nd the opportunity in America for those jobs has dwindled a lot. Not a WHOLE lot yet, but it will soon considering the circumstances.
  • "ideas?" yeah, try weapons.
  • Fuck, Gerald Celente is a living legend! The perfect mix of passion, charisma and eccentricity! Magic!
  • the government has no real independence and they still preach about the symbol of being independent in this country. now, they are so desperate to maintain their own positions in the financial class system, they'll destroy millions to save billions around the world in the economic game. bottom line is, Americans who have nothing are up for sale. and you can get people like that cheap, like illegal immigrants.
    this system only works for the wealthy who feed the rich and the high middle class.
  • Most people don't get his point. If you wanna be a Doctor, Nurse, Lawyer or Accounting yes College is worth it. But if you're gonna study Gay Studies, Business Admin, or any other crap majors, you're not gonna go anywhere. A Business degree will get you to a manager position at Sears. THAT's his point.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 Well then pick a better career. Right now the USA is in HIGH demand for the STEM jobs (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). The problem is that the majority of the country is not smart enough or determined enough to pursue careers in these fields, therefore they go for an easier career. ULTIMATELY that's your own personal fault not the other people who love education and are actually successful in life.
  • @Aceofspadezz69 Noo...it's not that. Ask any High School student "What do you wanna do with your life?" Majority say "I don't know." Every person's life experience is gonna be different and unique but people just simply aren't exposed to different career experiences until they GET OUT THERE and work and realize who they truly are. THAT's when they should be pursuing a bachelors degree, when they know who they are and what they want to do.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 Thank you, to all the people who want to be in those fields, kudos to them. However, not everyone wants to be in those careers.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 Whats wrong with Business Administration?
  • @mamobster1500 Nothing really, most companies see Undergrad Business majors as though they're gonna tell them how to run their business rather than contribute to the company.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 So what is your opinion on Business Admionistration degrees?
  • @mamobster1500 I think they're great for general information on how a business operates and learning economics on a small and global scale. Those rules that standards that a business is built on that you learn in business school are what make it strong.
    In the real world, they don't care about what you know about the skeleton of business ethics, they wanna know who YOU are and what YOU bring to the table, the rest can be learned from experience instead of a degree.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 There are qualities that offset job experience.. i mean i have 3 books on business.. Such as ethics and how it operates.. i just graduated HS last month.. im really questioning whether i should continue this or not
  • @tipofmytongue1024
    So then who can afford to get a Degree to be a doctor, nurse, lawyer or accounting? Only unless you get Loans from Big Banks and go into debt for the rest of your life and remain a slave to your Big Bank Brother....
  • @AngellStarr What needs to happen is let the Government OUT of the education system that way Banks can compete for smaller interest rates and less people will attend college making tuition prices go lower. Of course that defeats the purpose of having an "educated America" but if the tuition becomes affordable, then people will attend using the loans with small interest. It's more complicated than that but that's pretty much the problem, the college is raising tuition b/c it's soo easy to access.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 Exactly! I have a BS in Management and I ended up in the insurance industry where the most I ever made was around $75k a year for 15 years. I got laid off last year, but had been selling on eBay for 4 years for extra money. Now I make about $125k selling on eBay full time. My degree is worthless.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 You're wrong on that. Business Admin opens the door to Accounting. It kind of goes hand in hand. Political Science and other majors as such can get you low paying positions but they can open the door to getting into any of the other professions mentioned by you as 2 of the mentioned require Graduate School work and on some occasions like Med School they prefer diversity.
  • @tipofmytongue1024Great ELABORATE comment man! Gay studies lol?Never heard of that before. I talked with my guidance counselor the other day and I am in Liberal Arts now cause Im undecided but she clarified to me that I would make up my mind what I wanted to do in the next year depending on a class I was gonna take that I can make my mind up on what I wanted to do for the future but Im not sure if that is true. Anyways what is your advice for me?(I am receiving Fin. Aid, Im in communitycollege)
  • @psychedelicsoul YAY I love community colleges. The truth is, a college degree isn't a prerequisite for success. But I would take advantage of an education while the opportunity is in front of you, just plan accordingly
    What I would do is, figure out if you want to obtain a bachelor's degree, if you do, complete your general studies, EVERY major has to complete these. If you keep your studies up while figuring out what you're passionate about, you can obtain a free ride to a 4 year college.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 Lawyer degree? Get the fuck outta here. Do you know how many lawyers are unemployed and underpaid. Read the statistics before you come on here sounding ignorant. Good day.
  • @myassin2009 You are right about law degrees being a scam. it was recently on MSNBC News and you can Google it, that a female lawyer who practiced law for 10 years was laid off and ended up becoming a stripper. In Chicago recently a 25 year old female lawyer was arrested for prostitution for charging only $50 for sex. And CNN had a news video showing a law grad who graduated with honors. who works at Starbucks making coffee. Maybe people can get more education watching Scarface.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 It doesn't matter what you or I think what it takes to be a manager at Sears, its up to the hiring managers. They require a degree to even get an interview, so right or wrong that is what it takes. For those who refuse to get a degree based on their principle it may be tough going for them unless they're able to fund their own start up. I hope you understand where I'm coming from.
  • @tipofmytongue1024 Gay studies! LOL
  • here's an idea..why not make the first 4 years of college ABSOLUTELY FREE! A bachelor's degree ain't worth shit anyways like a high school diploma, why not just make it free..if america really wanted everyone educated they would just make at least the first four years free and the specialty degrees like a masters and doctors degree charge. for those of you in college btw, just don't leave..stack up on degress no matter what this fucker says in the vid. its better than whats out here. trust me.
  • I have a degree and I am unemployed. Companies are simply not hiring.
  • If my degree means I am smarter and more well spoken than this clown...I am glad to spend the money.
  • @Kelly119119 its very simple , you spend thousands of dollars on college ok .... you get a job ... ok , but then ... here comes the college bills that takes years and years to finish paying , you would be better off just working in McDonald full time and having your own money , then wasting four years of your life to put money in the pockets or rich greedy bastards , my English teacher was 39 when he finished paying his college debt .... 39!!!
  • @reym613 sounds like you have it all figured out. Don't get an education, work shitty jobs, and stay out of debt, good luck with that!
  • @Kelly119119 i know a McDonald manager that makes 27 dollars a hour ... never went to college or nothing , not saying college is totally useless but it can fuck you up the ass , especially if you cant find a job after college
  • @reym613 you are right about that for sure. And your buddy is smart for not taking "hospitality and tourism management" at college to learn to run a restaurant. There are many careers you can learn to do by working, and don't need school. Go to college if you want to do something that you need a degree to do. I am an accountant and make good money, and have a 2 year college, and 4 year university degree, as well as many private courses, you can't just do it with high school.
  • @Kelly119119 you are a prime example of the problem...people are far too ignorant and dense to see the truth glaring them down...that the ways we have lived are unsustainable at the current rate.
  • pretty sure celente 's thoughts are created in his bowels and then excreted out of his ass, coz thats exactly what his words are, complete shit
  • @ydoggbdoggbigG2 when the revolution comes, those who refuse and refute the truth will die first...people like you who have fallen so far from grace that they will never accept salvation in this life.
  • @TheGlobalRestoration yeh right dude, im sorry but fringe beliefs in a global elite circle that worships satan just isnt really going to convince many people to join your 'revolution'. believe me ive been where you are at right now with the conspiracy stuff, but at the end of the day, the only reason you would follow or want to believe in things like that is because your not happy with your life, or your frustrated with the world. but youll learn that in life, you only get out what u put in
  • @ydoggbdoggbigG2 I never said anything about satanic worship, I just said that people must learn to see through their lies and propaganda or we will never be free again.
  • @TheGlobalRestoration are you implying that we are not already free? you live in america, i live in australia, society looks pretty free from where i stand. it really pains me, when a person from a developed country has whinge about how bad they have it, you do realize you live in an era of unparalleled human rights, unrestricted communication and freedom of movement. it is sad that you chose to utilize this freedom by espousing an 'earth is flat' ideology
  • @ydoggbdoggbigG2 if you hate him...then just leave, but when war comes I hope you feel differently.
    otherwise you will lose everything that liberty has given to you, and then, only then will people like you see that they took these rights for granted.
  • @TheGlobalRestoration and no, i do not hate him, i do not hate anyone, but i do hate what he has to say, its silly, misleading and really gets people barking up the wrong alley.
  • retarded
  • @Heinreichnicus maybe you are the idiot, unless you have statistics to back up your "claim".
  • need not to go to college. There are many jobs...do whatever you can and don't forget to commit yourself to God the creator, bcoz He is our great provider. Just do good to all things you do and learn to save, you will succeed.
  • I did not finish my college degree,but I speak. languages. I learned from people whom I worked with...I don't speak good english but I didn't have a hard time of finding jobs.I have good attitude, flexible, willing to do all kinds of work.After high sch. I learned and earned from farming, fishing,housekeeping, and was hired as a bookkeeper by one of a small business agency. I was trained and hired as a nursing assistant in one of a private hospital...earned good with free board and lodging, etc.
  • dude looking for trash.. the last thing people will do is rebel no one wants to be the person to sacrifice there life for freedom.. are country is scwered
  • thing is... anyone who spent their time to get a college degree, wont ever admit that the piece of paper they spent some much time, effort, and money to get is absolutely worthless
  • @ivancito7790 so true. They just can't bear the fact that they wasted their time and money on it.
  • @stubertos FYI, before Roosevelt came in around 1930 the govn't consumed 3% of GDP. Now it's 45%. 1776-1930 saw the greatest economic expansion of any nation in history. Think there's a connection there?
    Btw, i mow lawns for a living and we paid about $40,000 in federal taxes last year. So much for the evil rich, eh?
  • With all due respect to Mr. Celente, whom I admire immensely, IMO, a college degree in any discipline is never worthless. The goal of an education is to help foster a well-rounded, educated person who will be better able to contribute to himself, society and his children more than if he didn't. Mr. C's missed this point. I'm a veteran entrepreneur and have always created my own job! And like Mr. C, I think for myself. Don't depend on anyone except yourself or you will be sadly disappointed.
  • @alexfromnb Sadly what he doesnt get into during this interview is the fact that you could obtain an equivalent education for a much lower cost online, but government policies prevent that reality from happening.
  • @fourthonline I agree with you. In time, I think you will be proven right as things are changing so fast. It takes too long to complete college, costs too much not only with tuition and books, but costly gasoline. In some disciplines, there is no other way to learn enough in a given topic, to demonstrate proficiency, and experiment such as biology, physics, etc. Get government out of college and watch costs drop. Allow the free market to work and quit making graduates wage slaves.
  • @alexfromnb I'ts not worthless, just not worth the current price for SOME/MANY attending college. Currently about 70% of HS grads go to college. That's too many. A,) they're not smart enough, and B) there isn't enough demand for that many. C) A high percentage are in "soft" majors like English, Literature, Education, and arcane subjects that have minimal economic return vs the high cost right now. My brother in law owes $70K and can't get a teaching job. Plenty of more examples online.
  • @brucec43 Sir, you are entirely correct! College costs are way out of line with reality. I graduated in 1979, started two successful small companies, and became an airline pilot and EVP to boot. College costs are enslaving young people and it isn't necessary. It costs over $ 380K to send a person through dental school alone! When my father went, I guess it was about 25K. He worked three jobs and left with no debt, but that was back in the early 1940s. Something has to change, fast!
  • This country will ultimately fall due to big business greed.
  • I got lucky. I hired in to a company in 2000 working in a trade (automotive). The trade required a 3-yr apprenticeship and 15 college courses (company paid). They even paid me for my time in school. I ended up finishing an associates by paying for the general ed. classes on my own dollar, but it was AFFORDABLE. I think it was $62/credit.
    As for a bachelors, I would like to get one but I am not stupid enough to pay $300-$550/credit and have to take out a big ass loan.
  • @RayAir1 Good for you. You'll always have a job if you want one. As in economic downturns people keep cars longer and need them repaired more often. You probably make some nice change, too.
  • @brucec43
    Not sure about always being able to have a job, but the key to being secure is to have as few bills as possible and always pay yourself first. Start by saving $20-$30 week. Pay off your c/c's. Make the tough decisions. If your house is $100,000 underwater maybe it's time to default? Housing values aren't coming back. Jobs aren't coming back.
    Take care.
  • thats what happens when you dont tax enough. all the little people get crushed while the rich get richer. America needs to be alot more liberal, drop their phobia of the left and maybe start moving towards it...but not too much, dont want no commys around...
  • @stubertos According to govn't figures the top 50% of earners pay 97% of all income tax. The top 1% pay 38% of all federal income taxes. Maybe you need to read up on the reality. The bottom 50% pay less than 3%, and the "poor pay nothing (they usually get earned income tax credits exceeding any tax owed and get a check back. Guess what happens to a society when over half pay almost nothing? They vote for endless tax increases!
  • @brucec43 Again, Bravo! The problem is too much government, too much spending and too much dependency. Everyone should pay something, but this whole mess is simply out of control and will no doubt hit a brick wall soon. You can't bring a person up by bringing another down. Without ecomomic freedom to keep what you "earn", there is no freedom! It's just a slogan. Politicians promise things to get votes with money that isn't their's. They're the problem! No more taxes, they'll just waste them!
  • i was doin well selling used acuras hondas toyotas then i got a mail las month saying i must have a car dealership license to sell thse car or else ill b fine . that wat he mean gov destroy the lil guy
  • College can't teach you to have intuition and self-discipline. Those are things you have to develop on your own, and they just happen to be two of the most important traits necessary in order to have a shot at a successful career. Americans want everything handed to them on a God damned silver platter. Intelligence is acquired not received! NOBODY can GIVE you the tools necessary to create a successful existence for yourself. A college cannot and your parents cannot. You have to EARN IT.
  • Well Shit Gerald people aren't finding jobs because they're either majoring in something that doesn't have a demand for these types of people, they're getting a major in something worthless like philosophy, or their fucking around in college. If they wanted a job get it somewhere where theirs a high demand for them like engineers or doctors or scientists something. 20 bucks says Gerald never went to college.
  • @nevain247 he actually did go to college and I don't think he is saying people shouldn't go to college. He's saying people are going to college and getting themselves into debt studying something that isn't going to make them a lot of money. Basically what you said.
  • @nevain247 No sir. I believe Mr. Gerald Celente earned his masters degree. His major was in economics. In my view, people should learn to create their own "job" and to be able to control their future. Never rely upon anyone except yourself. I started two successful businesses with nothing more than a pen, paper pad, telephone and a box of tools! If I could do it, so could anyone. My father was a dentist and an entrepreneur, so I learned early the skills necessary, not from college!
  • Isnt that something...*we produce ideas* as in an information based economy! Didnt that bubble already burst. Ask Tony Blair and Bill Clinton about that information based *dotcom* economy. Ideas huh! The cold war was about ideas too and that gave us Ron Reagans STI plan (AKA Star Wars) Quadrupled the national debt in the process. Tangible products equals a prosperous society. Down with a globalized economy too...another grandiose *idea*!
  • how about a cum booth mopper for the adult toy and movie stores in the worst parts of any city..?
    does someone need a degree for this too..?
  • No truer words were ever spoken than by Gerald Celente in this video.
  • Americans can go to UK
    they use English and
    average tuition fee is only USD13357
