So here is what scares me: All of history was required to get to 1900. Then despite disease, war, and natural calamities, we managed to quadruple in only 99 years. This is truly an explosive exponential growth rate and very few people seem to be talking it.
These questions about clouds are just another distraction from the true facts: CO2 is rising, O2 is falling, the temperature is rising, the arctic is melting. And these changes are mostly due to the fact that humanity quadrupled from 1.5 billion in 1990 to 6 billion in 1999, and continues to grow at a rate of 1 billion every 12 years. All these people require food and would like to waste energy in the same way that people do in the west.
All psychological theories about human motivation and people's intent are wrong.
THOSE are worthless unprovable garbage. Yet, that NEVER stops anthropogenic global warming (AGW) deniers from using them and attacking environmentalists and those of us who demand equal free speech right for OUR point of view to get heard and calling them "communist" or saying anti-AGW warriors are doing it "because of Al Gore" or bullshit theories like that.
Deniers and conservatives and all other anti-environmentalists are not mentally capable of doing hard work like this.
Climate models are INFINITELY superior forms of reasoning -
and that IS what they are, among many other things - compared to the worthless garbage of billions of words of prose spewed out in high-school-level debates with deniers.
ONLY mathematical models can determine the order of magnitude of cause and effect.
