It's a wonderful and ass-kicking song, but I still don't understand the need to have such a low tuning. It's not necessarily true that a low tuning and a very heavy distortion give the music more power and might. Just look at AC/DC, that haven't almost got any gain and are normally tuned in 4.40 Hz: they manage to blow everything up. Nice video too.

very good polishing of an old classic!! "Into the Macabre" really is what I would call a "Hell Awaits II." Thats coming from someone who considers "Hell Awaits" to be an all-time classic of thrash/black/death metal, just as "Into the Macabre" is it's rightful successor! I always loved the fast riff in this song, to me it sounds a bit like Vio-Lence "T.D.S." and some of Slayer's early riffs. PURE EVIL GUITAR and drums Peso!! We need more Necrodeath in the USA!!!
