The GPU needs to be re-soldered. Not only xbox problem, much of surface mount tech is biting the dust since solder cannot contain lead anymore. Brittle solder cracks.

There are a number of companies that replace the GPU solder with flexible lead based solder as was originally intended for BGA devices. $50 fix.
