oh hey...i need some serious help....im a freshman girl (5 foot 1) and a senior guy on steroids (about 5 foot 8?) is trying to harass me and get me to have sex with him. how would i defend myself against him if he tries to come up to me (he knows which way i walk home because he drove by yelling inappropriate things)? i have nobody to drive me home or escort me- my only possible escort is also a senior, but on the football team- his hand got busted up real bad. i NEED HELP NOW!

mainly meaning dont be hesitant to be prepared (yell, shout, be questionable... etc.), its better to be overreacting then under reacting.

But over-reaction means reacting to a situation in a way which is out of proportion to the situation. By all means be prepared to react, but to wander around expecting the worst and yelling, shouting and being questionable (I don´t think that is what you actually wanted to say) at th slightest imagined threat introduces paranoia and mistrust and false allegations to an already paranoid, mistrustful and falsely alleging society.

That's actually really smart! If they are going to harm you, they won't stop. You then identify the person as a threat, and can act without worrying if they are or are not in fact a threat. Thank you!
