What Bruce (and I am a fan) forgot to mention, is that by choosing better feeling thoughts, and by tuning into what we truly want (our highest joy), we can begin to reprogram the subconscious (which I call, the "less conscious," because it's not that hard to figure out what's there, if you are earnest about it. It really ought to be called "the automa-conscious." With practice, the automa-conscious is now OUR servant, and not the other way around.

Great video series!! The only thing that bothered me was when Dr.Wayne Dyer said that he didn't want to "know" what is wrong with him. I'm a holistic nutritionist and I've helped many people "fix" their health by the fact of determining where the imbalances are. If you don't know, then how can you fix them? Perhaps he got cancer because of "suppressing" emotions that need to be dealt with? I have a great chart that you can refer to on my website. Send me an e-mail and I'll send you the link.
This is good stuff but there's a hidden piece of the puzzle that needs to be revealed if we are to most effectively apply the wisdom they are sharing.
We cannot "blame" our thinking and our difficulties on who we were exposed to prior to age 6. (Bruce asserts this at 5:00)
Just entertain the notion that as disincarnate eternal spirits we deliberately chose to come into bodily form on earth to the exact parents and family we were born 2.
Recording gets stuck loading at 4.50 minutes. Love these interviews. Don't think my 50 trillion cells are happy hanging with me. Have lived a very limited, hammster on a wheel, habitual life. Especially work. Finally at the top of my pay scale, good benefits, but a grouch at work. Scared to move on. Like Excuses Begone book and program. Have to find rational reason to change. Recognize a lot of the excuses in my thinking! 'There's nothing I can do, and I'm scared' are 2. Complex.
@suiseki1 maybe you should read some of abraham hicks books, they have worked wonders for me, and they are easy to understand, or you can just watch the videos here on youtube. have fun
Jesus said -is done upon you as you belive ,ask, belive and is given etc..Bashar/youtube/tells how to discover and change beliefs. If we pay attention to our emotional negative reactions and ask ourselves what kind of belief about ourselves or the world could cause this reaction we will have an answer and we can decide if we want to keep or change this belief.
Capitalism is the wage slavery of immense humanity in a politically corrupt, manipulated MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY ,a tyrannical, destructive system to perpetuate poverty and exploitation in the interest of the ruling class. Capitalism from its mercantile plundering and enslavement of African natives to its Millitaristic rise of European Powers to World wars and Financial serfdom of the world has been a DISASTEROUS imposition . Capitalism is organised violence against immense humanity
@mansaness no man.. notjing against technology.. only we should explore more our own potential before proceding forward... wanna bet if it weren't for technolgy there would be no internet, no youtube..
The most fundamental question of all: What is the underlying law of nature.
As the way of all things, what effect do you suppose its question, knowledge, understanding and application by billions of persons would have on the state of global economics, science, the humanities, education, government and business?
John 10:34, Jesus answered them: "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" As Neville Goddard teaches, God is our wonderful, human imagination. God rested on the 7th day. After that the Bible never says "OK, God's done resting." He's still resting! No kids, this is our mess. We reflect our id into reality which reflects back to us as our experience. We're experiencing either our deepest love or our deepest fear. This is why we have police, corrupt governments etc... It's ALL US!
Capitalism with its banksters, pharma drug pushers, the military czars, the petrolum cartel ,the cultural and educational distortions is a hostile dangerous enviornment where the majority of humanity is exploited ,,devalued and suppressed of its rue potential, we need to reconstitute a society based on cooperation for our common well being.
@AceOfHeart2012 Just like Lipton said, our subconscious has downloaded negative sayings from our caregivers and we act them out. Its so sad and I think being VERY careful about the words and energy expressed around kids under 6 will create healthier and more powerful adults who will indeed create a paradise, naturally.
@AceOfHeart2012 Jesus said we belong to God. He didn't say we are Gods. He said we are God's.....the latter word meaning "Belonging to". But Jesus DID say, "As a man thinks, so is He....." So our minds and our thoughts and how we think is very important.
@questioneverything2 From the original Aramaic and Hebrew, that word means "Judges" and he is talking to the people of Isreal of that time. So often times when scriptures are translated from the original Hebrew and Aramaic, meanings are lost in translations. Just like in the english Bibles, what ever version, it says that Jesus was a Carpenter. But from the original language, Jesus was a "Stone Layer", not a Carpenter, which would surprise many fellow Christians now adays.
@questioneverything2 So the problem is in translations from the originals. Also, Bibles are then republished into King James, and this version and that version. I collect old Bibles, but I went finally to the original languages and learned these truths. There is so much more to Jesus History then is even recorded. But you have to go back to the beginnings. I think mistranslations have messed up alot of people and their ideas. Still God loves us just the same. Everyone is still learning.
@sandyabernathy Strongs concordance; (plural) a) judges b) divine ones c) angels d) gods. It's clear in definition d) gods. John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus is accused of being God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Jesus defends himself scripturally.
@questioneverything2 Again, you are reading the englilsh translations, not the original language. If you don't go back to the original Language, the translation is wrong most of the time. So I suggest you go back to the original Aramaic or Hebrew language, which are the languages Jesus Himself spoke.
@sandyabernathy Maybe I wasn't clear, I researched that scripture in the Strongs; English to Hebrew translation, concordance. You were right in some cases "gods" are translated to judges but in this case "gods" means gods of a lesser place than "The God". I also gave you the scriptures where Jesus used "gods" to defend himself from blasphemy. I hope this shines new light on old scriptures for you.
@questioneverything2 When I say I went to the original Hebrew and Aramaic, I went to the actual language and got the real translations from the people of the middle east themselves. I didn't go to a concordance, or such. I went to someone who has the scriptures in the original language and they translated it to me directly. Again, there are many mistranslations of the scriptures from the originals. When it is written that it says, "You are God's" it is meant belonging to God.
@questioneverything2 There is alot more, too, from the old testament that Jesus is quoting that most Christians don't know or don't understand what Jesus is refering to in Scriptures. It would take too long to go into all that here. I would suggest you make a Hebrew friend, who believes in Jesus and ask them. You and I could peacefully go back and forth, but it would accomplish nothing in that right now, it cannot be explained minimally.
@questioneverything2 Again, from the original, the correct translation is "You are God's", meaning "belonging to God". It can't be the other. Satan told Adam and Eve if they ate of the fruit, they would become as Gods. So it can't be that. If that were so, then Jesus would be Satan.
@sandyabernathy Out of the Lamsa Bible Psalms 82 I have said, You are gods; all of you are children of the most High. If you have never heard of the Lamsa Bible then check it out on the web. Dr. George Lamsa was a native Assyrian who was shocked to find that most Christians in the West used a Greek-based Bible. To Dr. George M. Lamsa, and many other Eastern Christians, the Aramaic Bible, is the only Bible. He worked on translating the Aramaic Peshitta into English, resulting in the Lamsa Bible
@questioneverything2 The Lamsa Bible didn't first appear until 1933. While I am familiar with this, I still don't see you having any references from the original ancient Hebrew. And this is also what I have speaking to you alot about. Going to the original in ancient manuscripts. Again, the Lamsa Bible is George M. Lamsa's own interpretation of the scriptures. What I am saying is go to an original manuscript yourself, and find someone who speaks that language their selve and let them interpret4u
@sandyabernathy I don't know anyone that can translate Hebrew into English for me and if I would really want to trust them to do so. However, I am glad you have friends who can and that you choose to trust them. God gave me an English Bible and a good common sense. I can tell by laying line upon line in the Bible what the meaning of "gods" is supposed to be. I have no need for man to teach me but the Holy Spirit. Thats good enough for me.
@questioneverything2 Yes, I do have a couple Hebrew friends I do trust. They are my friends. And speaking for myself, when I heard how every single scripture could be expanded, to many more possiblities, it was freeing to me. Everyone who is a Christian or who study's scriptures are at different stages of growth. Please do not think I am criticizing you. I just think outloud to where I am spiritually, and I do believe God is leadning me. I can't say that about anyone else, only me realistically.
@sandyabernathy I have read many book on the scriptures and have many sources, I do not come from a narrow view point; I am open for better understandings. If you can give me a sources to back-up what you are saying than you will have changed my understanding. Please help.
@questioneverything2 I suggest you ask God, and again, go to the original languages if you want to study that deep. I did. All my questions, all I learned God geared towards me and answering all my questions. When I came to this site, it wasn't to learn. It was observing someone talking about the Scriptures saying "They are God". Not that they are God's (belonging to God). I believe we belong to God. I do not believe we are equal to God. Anyone who believes they are equal to God should becareful
@questioneverything2 I think my question to you is simply this....you are focusing in on your understanding of some scriptures in which you feel it is written that you are gods. Do you want to be a God? As for me, I want to be God's...meaning belonging to God. I personally believe that those scriptures you are referring to, have a typo in that from the original, it is meant to be "God's", meaning belonging to God.
@sandyabernathy I do not focus on scriptures about God or gods. I just commented with a scripture that countered what you said originally. Do I want to be God? scriptural fact is a scriptural fact, we are children of the most high, we are inheritors of the Kingdom, we are one with God, God is in us all, there is no place where God is not,he is omnipresent, the source of all,our light and our breath of life, Yes,we love because he loved us first,God is love and we love one another, one in the same
@questioneverything2 Actually, I saw a comment by someone talking about the scripture and trying to say we are all Gods. Not meaning belonging to, but being people being Gods, as if they were wanting to be a God. That is what I originally responded to. And why I originally talked about the original language. Now I view it this way. We are "children" or species adopted by God. That makes us His. We are God's creations. God's breath of life is in all of us. Another reason we belong to Him.
@questioneverything2 I agree that there is nothing that does not have God's signature, life in it or on it. God's breath of llife, his creating things all life on this planet. And all things are living thanks to God. But again, it is dangerous for people to go around saying "We are Gods", when the correct translation is "We are God's". Apostrophy S, meaning, "We belong to God".
@questioneverything2 Since God created all things and all life, does this also mean that the birds are his children? Yes, humans were made in God's image. But God created all life and all things. Doesn't everything he made and give life to, aren't they his children as well? Native Americans will tell you yes in answer to this question as they speak of the circle of life. Galilee in the original language means "Full Circle".
@questioneverything2 Everyone is just at different stages of growth I think. And I think you are at one place and I am at another. While I walk by Faith now and not by sight, a few years back I got down to the original languages, and studied intensley for 4 years. I found the exactness and exact answers I was looking for and more. I got a glimpse, literally, of the Height, Depth, Width, and more of God. It was then I decided to walk by Faith.
It was then I decided to walk by Faith, knowing and am, thankful to God that He is in charge of my life, and Head of my Household. And in answer to your question, as I said, I studied intensley for 4 years. Back to the original language, and intensely. You asked I give you all this back up. My info and research was too intense and it was my research, answering my questions. Jesus said "Knock and the door will be open to you." Instead of turning to me, I suggest you ask God.
@sandyabernathy I'm not asking for who is more qualified you or I or am I turning to you for answers. I have studied the Bible for over 20 years and what your claiming is wrong. I gave you the scriptures in John 10:33 when Jesus was quoting Pss.82:6 "Ye are gods" and the content clearly shows what the scripture are saying. It isn't about God's ownership of us.( though we do belong to God) If you want to cling to your false beliefs that's your choice.
@questioneverything2 I've been studying the Bible for over 40 years and the original Scriptures for nearly 4 years. And we are back to the beginning. You gave a scripture that I said was translated wrong from the original language. If you want to make yourself out a God, that is your choice. But if I were you, I'd be careful. That is a dangerous thing for someone to try to put themselves equal to God.
@sandyabernathy Are you numb in the head? I never said I was God!!!!! I have made that clear. Now you are saying that both scriptures, I gave you, are translated wrong. You have ears and don't hear and eyes that don't see. You are so blinded by your dogma.
@questioneverything2 Oh, here we go....now you are name calling. We went full circle. Apparently you don't read your own writings of what you have stated here or said. You said, and I quote:"I gave you the scriptures in John 10:33 when Jesus was quoting PSS 82:6 "Ye Are Gods". I told you it was a typo. Jesus was defending himself. He didn't call Himself a God. He said he was the Son of God. If you read in history, you will find that all Jews in the old writings called themselves "Sons of God".
@sandyabernathy Yes, here we go again you decided to to change scriptures by adding a big G to PSS. 82:6. Jesus said, "Ye are gods" Notice it's a small g on gods. You always type a Big G.You just can't be changing small g for big G. Jesus was defining himself he was declaring that we are all gods.John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Then who do you think the word of God came from? and the scripture cannot be broken.
@questioneverything2 When I talk about the person, God, I put it as a capital letter. Because I am talking about the person God. To put a little "g" is disrespectful to God I feel. Again, it is depending on the person who translates which ever scripture. Yes, you can change a little g to a big G. I think as people read scriptures, God looks on our hearts and looks at our thoughts and intents and knows why we do what we do. Jesus did not declare that we all are gods. He quoted Scripture.
@questioneverything2 As a Christian who has studied over 40 years, and even went deep into the original languages and interpretations, I find it offensive to have someone going around saying "Jesus was defining himself and was declaring that we all our gods." I say no to your understanding of those scriptures. Jesus was saying we all belong to God. And his reference to the law scriptures he was firing back at those religious leaders of that time.
@questioneverything2 There are many levels in the Scriptures. I don't know if you have found those levels or not. To dwell on whether a g is Capital or small is silly. To look at Scripture and ponder the meanings to it, are not silly. Again, back to the original translations, the English Bibles say that Jesus was a carpenter. But the original Hebrew says he was a mason or stone layer. That is a big difference if you look at vocations. So the same is with original meanings.
@questioneverything2 You are looking at the English Translations. This is what I originally went over with you. I'm not going to keep going over things over and over and over again. Paul said in the New Testament that all Scripture is given to teach, and to reach others to bring them to the Faith. One of the levels also has broken scriptures hidden in it, so you can't say that. Again, that understanding or translation is wrong. I know you don't understand what I am saying.
@questioneverything2 We seem to be going over the same things over and over. I don't agree with you on your interpretations of the scriptures. And that is fine. As long as you believe. But I will not be subject to you calling me names and such because I don't agree with you. I don't see the benefit of you and I continuing. I think we should just say "Peace to you" and agree to disagree on your translations.
@questioneverything2 For anyone to think scriptures say "Ye are Gods" and think that is translated correctly having never seen the original scriptures really concerns me. God will not be mocked. But I think God does understand that alot of the translations. It's like get 12 people together. Whisper something in the 1st persons ear. Have each one pass it on. Then go to the 12th person and ask them what you said. See how the message has been changed. Now also add a language change, and there yougo
@questioneverything2 Most folks when they come in here, they surface look at things. So for a new Christian who hasn't studied, you come in here with this scripture. Now why did you present this scripture in the firstplace here? What were you trying to show? Why did you bring up the scriptures of "Ye are Gods"? What was it you were trying to get across? Let me ask you that.
@sandyabernathy Do you remember commenting "Jesus said we belong to God. He didn't say we are Gods. He said we are God's.....the latter word meaning "Belonging to". But Jesus DID say, "As a man thinks, so is He....." So our minds and our thoughts and how we think is very important. THAT IS WHAT I COMMENTED ON originally. I don't care who told you or who you studied from both you and they are wrong. Both scriptures support each other, if you change one then they both fall apart.
@questioneverything2 You are the one who originally told me you have studied for 20 years. I replied I have studied for over 40 years. So what? And now you are saying "I don't care who you are" etc.. But you started it. And I never said those scriptures never supported one another. You are trying to put words in my mouth. You know, I think you and I are having a serious communications problem here. I really do. I shared with you, how the translations were translated incorrectly.
@questioneverything2 I think for anyone to think themself a God, they need to be careful. That is why I personally choose to not put my trust in just one or two translations. To me, by getting to the original, it is helpful. And in the new testament, Jesus said, "The older is better."
@questioneverything2 Again, by getting to the original Hebrew and Aramaic, I learned just recently that Jesus wasn't a carpenter as I thought and was raised to believe for many years. He was a Stone Mason is how it is correctly translated. And Galilee was near a place that was a trade route, and a place where Joseph and Jesus would have had the opportunity of plenty of work while Jesus was growing up.
@questioneverything2 By having that trade route close to Galilee, Jesus would have the opportunity growing up to see many different nationalities and religions in humanity. I am totally interested in God and totally interested in Jesus. I am not against you, I just get concerned when I hear some Christians say certain things that might be a stumbling block to others. I am simply suggesting you dig deeper in the languages and translations sake. Before sharing, I think we need to be careful.
@sandyabernathy The serpent said they would become as Gods. You are right, God also said in Gen.3 22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us...We have been told by the Church the serpent told the first lie. I propose to you the serpent didn't lie at all, everything it said was the truth 1. the day they ate of it they didn't die 2. There eyes were opened 3. They became as gods knowing good from evil. Do you think God would rather have us unwise not knowing right from wrong?
@questioneverything2 Go into any englilsh Bible and read....Genesis Chapter One. The first creation by God, Himself. Then start Chapter two. It talks about "Lord God". And the creation story started opposite of what the original chapter one creation was. This is what I am currently pondering. So there is God. And then there is "Lord God" who created in the opposite way of the first original God. When they ate of the material fruit, it did take them away totally from the Spiritual.
@sandyabernathy I reread Genesis 1&2. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "creating in the opposite". The only difference I perceive is God or Lord God created it Spiritually before he created it physically. Which is the way everything is created, it is held in the subjective mind first then created in the objective. God creates that way and so do we, after all we are in the likeness of God, much like a drop of ocean water as us... to God as the Ocean.
@questioneverything2 I don't know where you live, but if if lived close, I could show you. While God has kept me learning and busy in one way, He leads others maybe in another way. But the main thing is God is leading, right? And that is a good thiing.
@questioneverything2 Because after they ate of the fruit, they were no longer spiritually minded, but they became carnally minded as well. And to answer your question to me about if I thought God would rather have us unwise not knowing right from wrong, I remember King's Solomon's words: "He who thinks he knows something, let him think he knows nothing." By God presenting the No No to Adam & Eve in the Garden, he was teaching them the first lesson....Obedience to God.
@questioneverything2 But Adam & Eve disobeyed. It was thru their choice that they learned right from wrong in that lesson. Since then, all of us here in this world are here to learn and to let God lead us. By that, we focus on God being God. Not us being anything other then following God. Not lifting ourselves up to be something, when without God, we are nothing in my opinion. So bottom line to your comment about the Serpent not lieing, that wasn't the test. The test was whether they would obey.
@sandyabernathy I'm not sure I agree with you when you say we must always follow God. Jesus told us how to pray in "The Lords Prayer", It's not a prayer of asking, pleading, deal making or following. It's a prayer of directing our faith and affirming what it is we need and clarifying what we need too God.
@questioneverything2 You said you are not sure you agree with me when I say that we, you and I, should always follow God? Yes, Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayers, and I am very very familiar with what the prayer says. What I was trying to get across to you, is that if you go around saying, "I am God" or "I am a God", to me that is offensive. Because I believe in One God. I prefer to say, I am God's, meaning I belong to God. I would much rather personally focus on God, then myself.
@sandyabernathy I feel I need to clarify something to you, I never said, "I was God" what I said is, "we are gods or I am god". Notice the small g on god. E.G. In the Bible when referring to Christ... Son is always capitalized. If you read about Jesus as son before the baptism by John the Baptist son isn't capitalized but afterwards it is always capitalized. Why? because the Spirit that descended on Jesus like a dove was the Son of God joined as one in Spirit, making Jesus "The Anointed One".
@questioneverything2 You said: "What I said is, "We are gods or I am god". Notice the small g when referring to Christ." This is what you said. I know about Jesus being the Anointed One. Christ, means, "The Anointed One". I know all this.
@sandyabernathy When you anoint something you add something to it, or pour something onto it. When Jesus was anointed something was added to him. It called the Holy Spirit or the Christ. Jesus was a servant of God. Are you going to argue with this?
@questioneverything2 No. Of course not. I think the problem is that you think I am disagreeing with you many times when I am not. And honestly, you don't have to explain anything to me like this because I already know these things. Back to the bottom line and not having to do with this subject matter, is that I get concerned for new Christians who haven't had the chance yet to study, to read some of the comments you had made originally. I originally told you that.
@questioneverything2 You said: "You are right, God also said in Gen.3 22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us...We have been told by the Church the serpent told the first lie. I propose to you the serpent didn't lie at all, everything it said was the truth 1. the day they ate of it they didn't die 2. There eyes were opened 3. They became as gods knowing good from evil." You are saying here that we are all God's. This is where we began.
@AceOfHeart2012 I love that statement. Exactly! Jesus said we are Gods. I am who I am. And if the "I am" is you then you are the God of your own destiny.
Isn't it absurd how much power we give to these pharmceutical companies who are literally raking it in from drugs that are no better than sugar pills. It's like everything is designed to screw you over from the word go!
Our emotions have frequency which are pick up by others especially children. If parent is fearful about his/her child well being, child will pick it up.See Abraham;Hicks youtube.
You have to understand that when they say the mind is capable of healing a myriad diseases of its body, a healthful environment for the mind is required. A mind polluted with drugs (pharma or illicit) and copius amounts of alcohol disable the minds ability to heal the body. What they say is absolutely true if you provide your mind with the necessary tools of a good, natural, varied diet, relaxation periods (meditate) and you MUST believe in it's ability to realize it's full potential.
Tricky... you could have a part in the health of your children's subconsicous mind be being positive...your children copy you, listen to what Buce says from 5:00 onwards.
Maybe childhood sickness is necessary to provide the mind the data it needs to be able to fight sickness. A person eventually becomes less and less ill and less frequently over the course of their life as time goes on. All the while your mind is absorbing all of this information and ordering the body to produce antibodies to all manner of illness. You must lead a healthful life in order for your mind to succeed in it's ability to heal the body. If the mind is polluted with drugs it has nochance
Watch the Secret. Dr. Wayne Dyer was going to be on it but he didn't want to be a part of it because they didn't focus enough on being of service and giving. It's still powerful for manifesting what you want. I use it all the time.
The parents beliefs are picked up by the children, yes. I know parents who tell their children things like put your coat on or you'll catch a cold, you'll catch cold in the rain, and so on, and wonder why thier children are always sick. I also know of parents to tell their children "you're so healthy, you never get sick", or tell their friends within earshot of their child "Johnny never gets sick" and their children never seem to get sick. Personally I haven't been sick in about 30 years now.
Great information! PSYCH-K has wonderful tools to change the subconscious beliefs and programs that create illness or emotional blocks. Worth checking out!
Thank you for the video. Very interesting stuff. 95% of our thinking being programmed by other people! I liked Dyer's advise about being an observer and watching your own brain, noticing the programs and patterns, and realizing: this is not me, this is my brain running the same program.
Absolutely! If you can do this it is a very powerful tool for meaningful, healthful change. And you MUST believe in the minds ability. It's the most powerful thing on earth.
It takes the same amount of energy to accept poverty as it does to embrace abundance.

We choose it all 2 learn how 2 return to source.

@AceOfHeart2012 Just like Lipton said, our subconscious has downloaded negative sayings from our caregivers and we act them out. LuluBre02 1 year ago
@AceOfHeart2012 Jesus said we belong to God. He didn't say we are Gods. He said we are God's.....the latter word meaning "Belonging to". But Jesus DID say, "As a man thinks, so is He....." So our minds and our thoughts and how we think is very important.

@sandyabernathy Psalms. 82, [6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. From the King James
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 From the original Aramaic and Hebrew, that word means "Judges" and he is talking to the people of Isreal of that time. So often times when scriptures are translated from the original Hebrew and Aramaic, meanings are lost in translations. Just like in the english Bibles, what ever version, it says that Jesus was a Carpenter. But from the original language, Jesus was a "Stone Layer", not a Carpenter, which would surprise many fellow Christians now adays.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 So the problem is in translations from the originals. Also, Bibles are then republished into King James, and this version and that version. I collect old Bibles, but I went finally to the original languages and learned these truths. There is so much more to Jesus History then is even recorded. But you have to go back to the beginnings. I think mistranslations have messed up alot of people and their ideas. Still God loves us just the same. Everyone is still learning.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy Strongs concordance; (plural) a) judges b) divine ones c) angels d) gods. It's clear in definition d) gods. John 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus is accused of being God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Jesus defends himself scripturally.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Again, you are reading the englilsh translations, not the original language. If you don't go back to the original Language, the translation is wrong most of the time. So I suggest you go back to the original Aramaic or Hebrew language, which are the languages Jesus Himself spoke.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy Maybe I wasn't clear, I researched that scripture in the Strongs; English to Hebrew translation, concordance. You were right in some cases "gods" are translated to judges but in this case "gods" means gods of a lesser place than "The God". I also gave you the scriptures where Jesus used "gods" to defend himself from blasphemy. I hope this shines new light on old scriptures for you.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 When I say I went to the original Hebrew and Aramaic, I went to the actual language and got the real translations from the people of the middle east themselves. I didn't go to a concordance, or such. I went to someone who has the scriptures in the original language and they translated it to me directly. Again, there are many mistranslations of the scriptures from the originals. When it is written that it says, "You are God's" it is meant belonging to God.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 There is alot more, too, from the old testament that Jesus is quoting that most Christians don't know or don't understand what Jesus is refering to in Scriptures. It would take too long to go into all that here. I would suggest you make a Hebrew friend, who believes in Jesus and ask them. You and I could peacefully go back and forth, but it would accomplish nothing in that right now, it cannot be explained minimally.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Again, from the original, the correct translation is "You are God's", meaning "belonging to God". It can't be the other. Satan told Adam and Eve if they ate of the fruit, they would become as Gods. So it can't be that. If that were so, then Jesus would be Satan.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy Out of the Lamsa Bible Psalms 82 I have said, You are gods; all of you are children of the most High. If you have never heard of the Lamsa Bible then check it out on the web. Dr. George Lamsa was a native Assyrian who was shocked to find that most Christians in the West used a Greek-based Bible. To Dr. George M. Lamsa, and many other Eastern Christians, the Aramaic Bible, is the only Bible. He worked on translating the Aramaic Peshitta into English, resulting in the Lamsa Bible
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 The Lamsa Bible didn't first appear until 1933. While I am familiar with this, I still don't see you having any references from the original ancient Hebrew. And this is also what I have speaking to you alot about. Going to the original in ancient manuscripts. Again, the Lamsa Bible is George M. Lamsa's own interpretation of the scriptures. What I am saying is go to an original manuscript yourself, and find someone who speaks that language their selve and let them interpret4u
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I don't know anyone that can translate Hebrew into English for me and if I would really want to trust them to do so. However, I am glad you have friends who can and that you choose to trust them. God gave me an English Bible and a good common sense. I can tell by laying line upon line in the Bible what the meaning of "gods" is supposed to be. I have no need for man to teach me but the Holy Spirit. Thats good enough for me.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Yes, I do have a couple Hebrew friends I do trust. They are my friends. And speaking for myself, when I heard how every single scripture could be expanded, to many more possiblities, it was freeing to me. Everyone who is a Christian or who study's scriptures are at different stages of growth. Please do not think I am criticizing you. I just think outloud to where I am spiritually, and I do believe God is leadning me. I can't say that about anyone else, only me realistically.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I have read many book on the scriptures and have many sources, I do not come from a narrow view point; I am open for better understandings. If you can give me a sources to back-up what you are saying than you will have changed my understanding. Please help.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I suggest you ask God, and again, go to the original languages if you want to study that deep. I did. All my questions, all I learned God geared towards me and answering all my questions. When I came to this site, it wasn't to learn. It was observing someone talking about the Scriptures saying "They are God". Not that they are God's (belonging to God). I believe we belong to God. I do not believe we are equal to God. Anyone who believes they are equal to God should becareful
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I think my question to you is simply this....you are focusing in on your understanding of some scriptures in which you feel it is written that you are gods. Do you want to be a God? As for me, I want to be God's...meaning belonging to God. I personally believe that those scriptures you are referring to, have a typo in that from the original, it is meant to be "God's", meaning belonging to God.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I do not focus on scriptures about God or gods. I just commented with a scripture that countered what you said originally. Do I want to be God? scriptural fact is a scriptural fact, we are children of the most high, we are inheritors of the Kingdom, we are one with God, God is in us all, there is no place where God is not,he is omnipresent, the source of all,our light and our breath of life, Yes,we love because he loved us first,God is love and we love one another, one in the same
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Actually, I saw a comment by someone talking about the scripture and trying to say we are all Gods. Not meaning belonging to, but being people being Gods, as if they were wanting to be a God. That is what I originally responded to. And why I originally talked about the original language. Now I view it this way. We are "children" or species adopted by God. That makes us His. We are God's creations. God's breath of life is in all of us. Another reason we belong to Him.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I agree that there is nothing that does not have God's signature, life in it or on it. God's breath of llife, his creating things all life on this planet. And all things are living thanks to God. But again, it is dangerous for people to go around saying "We are Gods", when the correct translation is "We are God's". Apostrophy S, meaning, "We belong to God".
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Since God created all things and all life, does this also mean that the birds are his children? Yes, humans were made in God's image. But God created all life and all things. Doesn't everything he made and give life to, aren't they his children as well? Native Americans will tell you yes in answer to this question as they speak of the circle of life. Galilee in the original language means "Full Circle".
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Everyone is just at different stages of growth I think. And I think you are at one place and I am at another. While I walk by Faith now and not by sight, a few years back I got down to the original languages, and studied intensley for 4 years. I found the exactness and exact answers I was looking for and more. I got a glimpse, literally, of the Height, Depth, Width, and more of God. It was then I decided to walk by Faith.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
It was then I decided to walk by Faith, knowing and am, thankful to God that He is in charge of my life, and Head of my Household. And in answer to your question, as I said, I studied intensley for 4 years. Back to the original language, and intensely. You asked I give you all this back up. My info and research was too intense and it was my research, answering my questions. Jesus said "Knock and the door will be open to you." Instead of turning to me, I suggest you ask God.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I'm not asking for who is more qualified you or I or am I turning to you for answers. I have studied the Bible for over 20 years and what your claiming is wrong. I gave you the scriptures in John 10:33 when Jesus was quoting Pss.82:6 "Ye are gods" and the content clearly shows what the scripture are saying. It isn't about God's ownership of us.( though we do belong to God) If you want to cling to your false beliefs that's your choice.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I've been studying the Bible for over 40 years and the original Scriptures for nearly 4 years. And we are back to the beginning. You gave a scripture that I said was translated wrong from the original language. If you want to make yourself out a God, that is your choice. But if I were you, I'd be careful. That is a dangerous thing for someone to try to put themselves equal to God.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy Are you numb in the head? I never said I was God!!!!! I have made that clear. Now you are saying that both scriptures, I gave you, are translated wrong. You have ears and don't hear and eyes that don't see. You are so blinded by your dogma.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Oh, here we go....now you are name calling. We went full circle. Apparently you don't read your own writings of what you have stated here or said. You said, and I quote:"I gave you the scriptures in John 10:33 when Jesus was quoting PSS 82:6 "Ye Are Gods". I told you it was a typo. Jesus was defending himself. He didn't call Himself a God. He said he was the Son of God. If you read in history, you will find that all Jews in the old writings called themselves "Sons of God".
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy Yes, here we go again you decided to to change scriptures by adding a big G to PSS. 82:6. Jesus said, "Ye are gods" Notice it's a small g on gods. You always type a Big G.You just can't be changing small g for big G. Jesus was defining himself he was declaring that we are all gods.John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Then who do you think the word of God came from? and the scripture cannot be broken.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 When I talk about the person, God, I put it as a capital letter. Because I am talking about the person God. To put a little "g" is disrespectful to God I feel. Again, it is depending on the person who translates which ever scripture. Yes, you can change a little g to a big G. I think as people read scriptures, God looks on our hearts and looks at our thoughts and intents and knows why we do what we do. Jesus did not declare that we all are gods. He quoted Scripture.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 As a Christian who has studied over 40 years, and even went deep into the original languages and interpretations, I find it offensive to have someone going around saying "Jesus was defining himself and was declaring that we all our gods." I say no to your understanding of those scriptures. Jesus was saying we all belong to God. And his reference to the law scriptures he was firing back at those religious leaders of that time.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 There are many levels in the Scriptures. I don't know if you have found those levels or not. To dwell on whether a g is Capital or small is silly. To look at Scripture and ponder the meanings to it, are not silly. Again, back to the original translations, the English Bibles say that Jesus was a carpenter. But the original Hebrew says he was a mason or stone layer. That is a big difference if you look at vocations. So the same is with original meanings.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 You are looking at the English Translations. This is what I originally went over with you. I'm not going to keep going over things over and over and over again. Paul said in the New Testament that all Scripture is given to teach, and to reach others to bring them to the Faith. One of the levels also has broken scriptures hidden in it, so you can't say that. Again, that understanding or translation is wrong. I know you don't understand what I am saying.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 We seem to be going over the same things over and over. I don't agree with you on your interpretations of the scriptures. And that is fine. As long as you believe. But I will not be subject to you calling me names and such because I don't agree with you. I don't see the benefit of you and I continuing. I think we should just say "Peace to you" and agree to disagree on your translations.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 For anyone to think scriptures say "Ye are Gods" and think that is translated correctly having never seen the original scriptures really concerns me. God will not be mocked. But I think God does understand that alot of the translations. It's like get 12 people together. Whisper something in the 1st persons ear. Have each one pass it on. Then go to the 12th person and ask them what you said. See how the message has been changed. Now also add a language change, and there yougo
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Most folks when they come in here, they surface look at things. So for a new Christian who hasn't studied, you come in here with this scripture. Now why did you present this scripture in the firstplace here? What were you trying to show? Why did you bring up the scriptures of "Ye are Gods"? What was it you were trying to get across? Let me ask you that.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy Do you remember commenting "Jesus said we belong to God. He didn't say we are Gods. He said we are God's.....the latter word meaning "Belonging to". But Jesus DID say, "As a man thinks, so is He....." So our minds and our thoughts and how we think is very important. THAT IS WHAT I COMMENTED ON originally. I don't care who told you or who you studied from both you and they are wrong. Both scriptures support each other, if you change one then they both fall apart.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 You are the one who originally told me you have studied for 20 years. I replied I have studied for over 40 years. So what? And now you are saying "I don't care who you are" etc.. But you started it. And I never said those scriptures never supported one another. You are trying to put words in my mouth. You know, I think you and I are having a serious communications problem here. I really do. I shared with you, how the translations were translated incorrectly.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 There. I sent enough of your own words and quoted you everything you wrote since the beginning of our discussions.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I think for anyone to think themself a God, they need to be careful. That is why I personally choose to not put my trust in just one or two translations. To me, by getting to the original, it is helpful. And in the new testament, Jesus said, "The older is better."
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Again, by getting to the original Hebrew and Aramaic, I learned just recently that Jesus wasn't a carpenter as I thought and was raised to believe for many years. He was a Stone Mason is how it is correctly translated. And Galilee was near a place that was a trade route, and a place where Joseph and Jesus would have had the opportunity of plenty of work while Jesus was growing up.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 By having that trade route close to Galilee, Jesus would have the opportunity growing up to see many different nationalities and religions in humanity. I am totally interested in God and totally interested in Jesus. I am not against you, I just get concerned when I hear some Christians say certain things that might be a stumbling block to others. I am simply suggesting you dig deeper in the languages and translations sake. Before sharing, I think we need to be careful.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy The serpent said they would become as Gods. You are right, God also said in Gen.3 22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us...We have been told by the Church the serpent told the first lie. I propose to you the serpent didn't lie at all, everything it said was the truth 1. the day they ate of it they didn't die 2. There eyes were opened 3. They became as gods knowing good from evil. Do you think God would rather have us unwise not knowing right from wrong?
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Go into any englilsh Bible and read....Genesis Chapter One. The first creation by God, Himself. Then start Chapter two. It talks about "Lord God". And the creation story started opposite of what the original chapter one creation was. This is what I am currently pondering. So there is God. And then there is "Lord God" who created in the opposite way of the first original God. When they ate of the material fruit, it did take them away totally from the Spiritual.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I reread Genesis 1&2. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "creating in the opposite". The only difference I perceive is God or Lord God created it Spiritually before he created it physically. Which is the way everything is created, it is held in the subjective mind first then created in the objective. God creates that way and so do we, after all we are in the likeness of God, much like a drop of ocean water as us... to God as the Ocean.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I don't know where you live, but if if lived close, I could show you. While God has kept me learning and busy in one way, He leads others maybe in another way. But the main thing is God is leading, right? And that is a good thiing.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 Because after they ate of the fruit, they were no longer spiritually minded, but they became carnally minded as well. And to answer your question to me about if I thought God would rather have us unwise not knowing right from wrong, I remember King's Solomon's words: "He who thinks he knows something, let him think he knows nothing." By God presenting the No No to Adam & Eve in the Garden, he was teaching them the first lesson....Obedience to God.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy That is quite a lesson... a lesson we still have trouble with.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 But Adam & Eve disobeyed. It was thru their choice that they learned right from wrong in that lesson. Since then, all of us here in this world are here to learn and to let God lead us. By that, we focus on God being God. Not us being anything other then following God. Not lifting ourselves up to be something, when without God, we are nothing in my opinion. So bottom line to your comment about the Serpent not lieing, that wasn't the test. The test was whether they would obey.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I'm not sure I agree with you when you say we must always follow God. Jesus told us how to pray in "The Lords Prayer", It's not a prayer of asking, pleading, deal making or following. It's a prayer of directing our faith and affirming what it is we need and clarifying what we need too God.
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 You said you are not sure you agree with me when I say that we, you and I, should always follow God? Yes, Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayers, and I am very very familiar with what the prayer says. What I was trying to get across to you, is that if you go around saying, "I am God" or "I am a God", to me that is offensive. Because I believe in One God. I prefer to say, I am God's, meaning I belong to God. I would much rather personally focus on God, then myself.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy I feel I need to clarify something to you, I never said, "I was God" what I said is, "we are gods or I am god". Notice the small g on god. E.G. In the Bible when referring to Christ... Son is always capitalized. If you read about Jesus as son before the baptism by John the Baptist son isn't capitalized but afterwards it is always capitalized. Why? because the Spirit that descended on Jesus like a dove was the Son of God joined as one in Spirit, making Jesus "The Anointed One".
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 You said: "What I said is, "We are gods or I am god". Notice the small g when referring to Christ." This is what you said. I know about Jesus being the Anointed One. Christ, means, "The Anointed One". I know all this.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@sandyabernathy When you anoint something you add something to it, or pour something onto it. When Jesus was anointed something was added to him. It called the Holy Spirit or the Christ. Jesus was a servant of God. Are you going to argue with this?
questioneverything2 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 No. Of course not. I think the problem is that you think I am disagreeing with you many times when I am not. And honestly, you don't have to explain anything to me like this because I already know these things. Back to the bottom line and not having to do with this subject matter, is that I get concerned for new Christians who haven't had the chance yet to study, to read some of the comments you had made originally. I originally told you that.
sandyabernathy 1 year ago
@questioneverything2 I had originally explained that to you and why I felt like I did.

I have a question:how can I change the thinking of my children?they are 3 ,4 and 7 years old and they are sick all the time!
is it my thinking that affects them or what?

Tricky... you could have a part in the health of your children's subconsicous mind be being positive...your children copy you, listen to what Buce says from 5:00 onwards.
