The sad part of this is how Latinos think this is cute. It is plain racist. How did the Italian Americans react to the negative Bada Bling lottery commercials combining them with African Americans in stereotypical gangster roles? They reacted quick by getting them pulled. Make the right choice when you see this crap and take your business somewhere else. I now use Verizon Fios because they don't play these crappy ads and make me feel like a goddamn clown. My 6 month old son loves this commercial, the Spanish version too. I think babies all over the country are being put under a spell by Cablevision, maybe subliminal messaging? So they grow up to hate satellite dishes? Thank you for uploading this optimum clip. I have to say I LOVE IT. The other commercial with the Raggaeton I hated it was ignorant. And they just ran it too much. This commercial reminds me of the show "Que Pasa USA" and I can see a television series being created based on this commercial and having a similar format: Family moving to USA from Puerto Rico, struggling to cope with a new environment and language, identity crisis of the members of the family as they are pulled in one direction by their elders - who want to maintain Hispanic values and traditions - and pulled in other directions by the pressures of living in a different society. :-)

BTW, agree with you about the other Optimum Triple Play commercial. I think a lot of Hispanics wanted to see a commercial like this one with the animated puppets portraying the Hispanic family. It's not just creative, but the commercial identifies with many Hispanic families (esp. those who live in the NYC area, where you can get Optimum Triple Play -- sorry, I live in PA, where we have a fairly large Hispanic population, but not the infrastructure to support Optimum's services). :-)

I find it funny that cablevision has a completely latin slant towards their advertising. 2 out of 3 have this theme to it however I find I actually like this one dump the horrid one with the reggaetone!!
