  • HAHA! I LOVE IT! Roll some coal

  • its a nice car, why would you ruin it with aftermarket guages, and a stack?...

  • @piloty5 define ruin

  • @piloty5 boost is good to know, pyro is good because he is running more fuel, these cars can take only so much heat so knowing what temp it is helps, and volts is a no brainer, this car is intelligent

  • If it dont blow black, its not burning away unused diesel.

  • @HenkAnnieNaald thank you, come again

  • dude thats pretty badass. any benz i ever get is gonna be a diesel with a 5" hood stack....i dont understand how its busted or a piece of shit in any way.

    youre cool in my book!

hell i got one even better that im going to build. but for the sake of my idea retaining its originality i will not discuss it. ;)

  • i like the gauge pillar what is that actually suppose to be for? im looking to get one but dont know which one would fit and i dont want to just buy one off the internet and not know if it would fit, thanks alot! awesome stack!

  • @scottieboy67 It is just a universal 3 pod one from AutoZone, Bought it and heated it to get the shape then trimmed it to fit.

  • i used to drive an 85 300sd and this is a fucking amazing idea. wish i wouldve done it

  • @ktm105sxrider Gone Away by The Offspring

  • do you know what the song in the backround is

  • Comment removed

  • I have a 84 300d and I'm wanting to pu ta hood stack on it, but how in world did you get it to roll coal? Is there any write ups online to tell what to adjust?I have a 7.3 power stroke and would love to have my Benz roll coal too!

  • @LaydRanger send me a message and I will tell you how..Ive done several in my shop and its not hard just alil tweek here and there

  • @LaydRanger check out "turbo617"s site. Superturbodiesel . com without the spaces of course. then check out the stickied thread about "removing rack limiter. warning you though you're going to need a EGT gauge unless you want to be melting pistons and a boost gauge if you want to actually produce any power

  • @BmxDieseldude thanks, im waiting on new calipers to get here for it because one froze up after that i can get back to modding it, right now i just have it straight piped, i have a old pyrometer off my truck but i got to get a new probe for it so i will prob just end up buyin a whole new gauge, thanks for your help by the way!

  • @LaydRanger no problem. hope to see what you produce up on here when your done!

  • Thats is so awesome! I love how you did that with a mercedes! I love how you put the gauge pillar on there too! LOL! This is the most awesome car ever! Could you make a vid of you driving it?

  • thanks for all the good words guys. since the video, i have gotten the 4 speed in and the thing is a blast to drive. cant wait to drift it this winter!

  • great song and car man..

  • 22 psi in the stock Garrett?

  • points for offspring =DDDDD

  • sweet man

  • quite possible the best hood stack ever. Bra you have balls!!!!

  • that is awesome haha

  • have you checked out superturbodiesel com

  • badass!!! :)

  • How do you turn up the pump on one of these? i got a 79 300d and i need smoke!

  • cut the downpipe off and welded a 90 degree elbow up. then put the stack on with exhaust clamp

  • @drewgerhan lol why did you do this ?, is it even road legal now? lol

  • how did you put the stack in

  • i turned up the fuel in the pump and turned the boost to 22psi. an intercooler is sitting on my bench waiting to go in. as is a propane injection system and a 4 speed manual trans.

  • @drewgerhan 22psi seems a bit steep. however im with you the rest of the way. I'm looking to swap my 3.0T into a 240D with a manual. (easier than modifying the whole drive line) I'm awaiting a decent size intercooler before messing with the full load screw, and im thinking about running water/meth injection. I voted this over propane purely because i use (well filtered and heated) veggie oil (i respect if you hate the stuff), and figured this could help defend against carbon build up.

  • @drewgerhan 22psi is FAR too much. Unless you've got a high output pump installed, 14psi is more than enough.

  • @drewgerhan be careful with the propane cause it could kill your turbo

  • sounds awesome!

  • Haha it makes the engine sound wayy bigger than it is. I love it. What else besides that and the gauges have you done to the car?
