Yep RedFox is right, there is a whole family of species like this which use their abdomen to collect moisture from the air, pretty cool you saw one, we've only studied them. :(
that's probably not a bombardier; that's more like some bug in the desert that drinks water by collecting mist dew in the morning (condensing it over its body shell)
