I just recently got into this show about a month ago because it was a recommended video off my youtube page (I had watched the Grey's Anatomy episode that Tyne Daly guest starred in). Cagney & Lacey was a very ground breaking show with the different issues it shed light on. This is one of my favorite episodes to watch. Sharon Gless & Tyne Daly acted their heart out! I'm probably one of the youngest fans at 27 but I wish there were more shows like this today!

You can order them from Amazon in the US and they will deliver them to Australia. I sent Season 1 to a friend in Queensland. She says they're still not available over there (as of August 13, 2007).

SurfergirlCali - do you have the episode where Christine arrives at the hospital after Mary Beth's lumpectomy? The last time I saw it was over 20 years ago when it first aired, and I remember crying like a baby from the emotions it brought.

This is my favorite episode the second one is when Cagney's dad passed away. Need more of this duo. Wish I could get it on DVD because I have about wore out the tapes that I taped off of tv.

Weren't they great? All of them. Terrific chemistry between Sharon/Tyne/Chris/Mary-Beth but also between the Laceys. John Karlen was perfect as Harv.
